Country Kettle Cafe — Restaurant in Castleton Township

I honestly don't understand how this place has 4.4 stars. Super disappointed. The only person we noticed with good personable skills was the (estimated to be) 15 year old girl who initially brought our drinks. The food was disgusting. My rodeo burger was SMOTHERED in BBQ sauce, they probably put so much because they knew the burger was completely dried out. So much sauce they had to bring me an extra plate and extra napkins. Kid got chicken tenders and they were way overcooked, he must've ate like four bites. The fries were over done and I could've gotten past that but the ketchup itself was disgusting as well. The mustard bottle obviously either doesn't get used much or isn't cleaned often because it wouldn't come out at all because it was so crusted on the top. When they came to bring me a drink refill the lady spilled it all over the table, including all over my purse. Absolutely terrible. I have never experienced such awful customer service at a restaurant, ever. Not even acknowledged when initially walked through the door. We had sat at our table for five minutes without a waitress even coming to give us menus or ask what we wanted to drink. We had to ask for menus, and upon asking we were replied with a very sarcastic tone, "I know! I see you!" Obviously you didn't if we haven't been helped and there aren't even more than a few tables worth of people in the entire place. We left immediately after that. How can a restaurant expect to stay in business when every employee is terribly rude to their customers? I ask you to avoid this business at all cost or risk running into terrible service, and...

My family used to enjoy going to Jack and Judy 's Country Kettle. service, food, friendly and atmosphere! Really liked soup and salad bar. Fish and Chips were awesome plus Sweet potato Fries, My favorite! We have been unable to go since they close so early! I don't understand why they don't at least stay open later on Friday and Saturday. If they could at least Stay open until 7:00 or 8:00pm. Our family would love to come back. Most of our family are on afternoon shifts, and our son lives in Potterville, which takes a little while to get too! You do have a great restaurant! Missing you in...
