Did you want a burger? Go to McDonald's.
OH you want a Killer Burger!? Well go to KILLER BURGER!
I had the original size "Bender" burger and it was spectacular! I have not a complaint about anything on it. Very satisfied. If you're worried about the prices, go to Burger King, get a whopper and save $2. You're stomach will be so happy I'm sure. Pricing was fair, to me, for the QUALITY of food. The fries were very crispy and potatoey? (You get what I mean lol) Taste is close to 5 Guys for reference. Wifey has the Peanut Butter burger. She ate 3/4 of it before she tapped out! It was enough burger!
OH! But why stop there.. They also had a Hot Honey chicken sandwich! Couldn't leave without trying that! Jeesh! When I tell you that chicken was hot, crispy, juicy, seasoned in all the right places! I mean it! The slaw had a KICK to it also! The little tingling you get from a pink pepper or a Szechuan pepper is what to expect.. The Mike's Hot Honey tames it enough to make the next bite equally effective. I like spice so I explained the sensation for those who are like my wife and not into it but she was just fine with it. I thought the burger was amazing but man this chicken sandwich is looking the burger straight in the eye and not backing down! The frozen drinks were a plus also! I had the Marion berry and it was awesome.
Staff was great also. They helped us with our order being a first timer. I saw them multiple times throughout the meal come over and ask customers if their order was up to standards. Music was going and all the employees were smiling! Some businesses take a smile for granted and it can simply make a dull customer a happy returning customer and that's what I am. A happy returning customer!
These guys are gonna reactivate my gym membership!

Read moreI'm going to go out on a wild limb and say the reviewer Clearly Colleen, needs to give the place a second chance. My husband and I read reviews of almost anywhere before we go in. We saw her review and were feeling pretty apprehensive. We had our kid and baby with us, so going out always feels like a bit of an ordeal and we don't like to take risks on the food being mediocre, when we're juggling them as well. I'm sure most parents can understand!
ANYWAY. I got the Bender. My husband got the spicy chicken sandwich. My kid got a cheeseburger, and we got a big batch of shareable fries.
Everything was spectacular. My burger was bursting with flavor, the meat had these amazing little crispy bits, oh my God. Amazing. My husband said his chicken sandwich was "one of the best ones he's had in a long time". THAT IS HIGH PRAISE. My three year old ate almost his ENTIRE BURGER. Does anyone know how rare that is???
The fries were some of the best I've had in the area. Everything was well seasoned, not over salted.
Service was friendly and helpful, I actually loved that we could vaguely hear the workers joking around in the back. They had high chairs, we didn't have to clear our own table when we were done, and they were playing early 2000s jams. All the vibes were great! I'm not saying Colleen's experience isn't valid, or incorrect. But I've had moments where I've gone to an establishment 20 times with success, and the 21st time is the day things are haywire and the food is blah. Could have been that day for them. She doesn't owe it to anyone to retry the place, but I did want to share our opposite experience.
We'll...
Read moreWE'RE NEW TO SAN ANTONIO and it's all about the eats!!! we've heard about Killer Burger and we decided to see what the hype was about. The ambiance and vibes were chill and cool, everyone dining in were about their grub business that's for sure lol. It was pretty packed inside which says a lot and we were excited to get to business like everyone else lol.
The service was great, very friendly and definitely patient due to our indecisiveness but the cashier helped us out a lot and was very knowledgeable about the menu. We ordered the Classic Burger and the Bender burger and of course fries and drinks. Let me tell you, killer burger has THEE BEST SWEET ICED TEA I've had in a veeerrryyy long time!! It was super sweet and delicious!. If you can't tolerate super sweet you can dilute it with their unsweetened tea as well, a good half n half will be perfect or you can go with unsweetened altogether.
The burgers were absolutely AMAZING! Very very good and the cook on them were perfection. The fries were seasoned very well and it brought everything together. We dined in and it didn't take long for our food to come out. This restaurant was about 40mins away from where we live but the drive was definitely worth it! and we will be swinging back by tomorrow lol.
You have to make your way to Killer Burger if you're in the area or not, new to SATX or a native. Good vibes, good food and a full belly.. there's nothing...
