I had a really unfortunate experience here today. I went to pick up lunch (3 sandwiches, 1 salad, 1 quesadilla and a side of egg salad). 30+ minutes go by and I start why this is taking so long. I kept seeing people that came in after me, with multiple items in their orders, come and go with their food. Finally I said something and there were 3 young girls working and all essentially weighed in saying well you had a big order so we had to prioritize other orders. I stated it’s only 5 items and they said that my order is in progress and I asked how much longer and they said about 15-20 minutes. I was very confused because people with 3 or 4 things in their orders had gotten food quickly so I guess one or two more items made my order go to the bottom of a priority to make list. I was frustrated because I felt so dismissed and zero apology or acknowledgement that this was a poor way to treat customers because food isn’t being made based on arrival it’s just an arbitrary decision on which order they thing would take longer and just make when they feel like it. When I questioned how it could still be another 15-20 minutes, at this point no one in the restaurant was in line they said they we’re working on it and I asked if any part of the order ready and they said yes and I asked if I can at least have what’s ready and they were being evasive and I stated that I’m just so confused how everyone with multiple things in their orders who got the same things I got got theirs like what kind of system is that and they said verbatim “well what do you want from us?” Finally, I was pretty much losing my cool and said (heatedly) “at this point I just want you to be honest have you started making any part of my order?” The girl that was preparing my food said “no, I haven’t I can have it ready in 5-10 minutes do you want to cancel it or want me to make it?” Knowing it would be a quickly made at this point and my family was waiting on food I asked them to continue to make it. It’s mostly a bummer because this was just our second time going here and had a great experience the first time and this left a really sour taste in my mouth and not sure I’d return. I hope it was a one off and the policy isn’t to just make slightly larger orders once no customers are in line anymore and can appreciate weekends may be busier but just a not great experience. The food is good if you have all the time in the...

My boyfriend and I have been loyal customers of your restaurant for several months, often dining in once or more a week. We genuinely love your food and are willing to drive 25 minutes each way just to enjoy it.

However, the last three visits have left us disappointed and frustrated due to increasingly poor customer service.

Most recently, we arrived at 7:30 PM, only to be told the grill had already been shut down — despite your posted hours stating you’re open until 8 PM. Had we known food would not be available up to closing time, we would not have made the trip. There was no sign or notice about early kitchen closure, and the cashier’s attitude was unnecessarily rude and dismissive.

Prior to that, on two separate occasions, we ordered chicken cheesesteaks at the register and were met with eye-rolling and audible irritation from the cook, simply because she had to check if chicken was available. This kind of response makes us feel like an inconvenience rather than valued, paying (and tipping) customers.

While we’ve encountered some friendly staff in the past, the inconsistency in service (especially recently) has made us reconsider our visits. We sincerely hope you take this feedback seriously and address the lack of professionalism and customer care from certain team members.

We are reaching out not to complain, but because we truly enjoy your food and want to continue supporting your business. That said, respectful service should be the standard, not...

I love supporting small businesses and thought this little cafe seemed worth the trip. The space is small and cramped but from the moment we walked in we got a “you’re not from around these parts” vibe. The man who took our order was very unfriendly. When asked what was in the chicken salad, he said, “Chicken.” Maybe he was joking but I had to pry more details out of him. I ended up getting the egg salad sandwich. They put it on the wrong bread (not a big deal) but the portion was very generous. It just didn’t have much flavor.

Their drink selection was very limited and when I grabbed the last Diet Coke I asked if they had any more. I was told they might have some in the back but it wouldn’t be cold. Not terribly helpful.

Finally, the eating area felt dirty. While the tables were clean, the area felt cluttered while we sat and ate next to a basket of cleaners. Not terribly appetizing.

I could forgive all of the above if the service had been warm and welcoming. Since it wasn’t, I won’t be back. I wish businesses still cared about...

I took my family to this place on a referral from a friend. The place was smaller than I expected, but no issue there. You seat yourself and while seated, no one, from the staff, greeted or acknowledged our presence. There were a couple of patrons, so they weren't busy. When we got up to leave, the staff still didn't say anything while looking me in my face. They do not have to worry about me patronizing their establishment. I am black and my money spends just like their money. Over 2 million views on my posts, so I hope this review effects your business. In response to your message, everyone doesn't your establishments procedure. This was our first time. If your staff would've said good afternoon, welcome, how can I help you, etc.., we would've ordered at the counter. I have been in the service industry and am big on customer service. Maybe, it didn't have to do with race and more with a communication issue. Nevertheless, I won't be returning.

I went here and ordered two sandwiches, a hotdog and chili. The woman behind the counter told me it would be 25 minutes. Fifty minutes went by when I asked for my money back. The woman said no- but-they had some of my food ready. I wasn’t about to make a scene so I took what I was handed and left. Inside were some burned pancakes and a sandwich. Nothing else. Yes everywhere is understaffed and busy. However in that 50 min wait, I watched one of the cooks make herself a sandwich and eat it in front of me and my child. How else should I feel?

Quick breakfast stop then back on the road. It’s a local no frills joint, but when they serve they serve. The breakfast sandwich was solid, even as as veggie version when I took off the bacon. However the potato salad was BOMB. The paprika-esq seasoning really did the trick. Coffee was great and they have tons of fixings for you to jazz up a basic cup, or plenty of frilly menu choices. Fav part - the sign on the door and at the register. 100% agree and wish more places would adopt a perspective of mutual respect. Keep it up!
