Not perfect but good enough...
Let's start with the honest truth of the matter. The only reason I found myself eating here today was because the Wendy's drive through was to the street and BK only had one car in theirs. After deciding to have an adventure for my tiny lunch break and try something different. I have to say I found myself quite impressed. The lady who took my order was patient as I struggled to read the menu. The drive up menu changes while you are reading it which is annoying. No reason to advertise bk to me when I'm ordering bk. Somebody in marketing needs to be fired for that nonsense. That aside the staff was fast nice and professional. But the important stuff is the food... Like a regular tight wad today I swung for the dollar ish menu. I picked up a regular cheese burger, a rodeo burger, and a spicy chicken burger. 1st the cheese burger. A solid meh Honestly for a buck all I can hope for is that the components are actually there and inside two buns... Unlike some places that share my last name... The burger had it's classic bk flavor. It was nothing to write home about but it delivered. 2nd up the rodeo burger. If you are like me and have no clue what that is. It's a regular burger with the cutest little onion ring you have ever seen with BBQ sauce. Honestly impressed with the flavor provided by this combination. Could use an actual onion ring and about double the sauce. What would really make that an impressive little burger would be a slice of cheese. If I were to do again and I prob would I'd add a slice of cheese. 3 the spicy chicken burger... I know that bk was all about there burgers and classic grill flavor and blah blah blah. But we all need to pump the brakes on that way of thinking. The chicken burger stole the show today. The first bite in was not only a surprise but encouraging a tongue tango. The flavor was exciting the chicken was magically tender while the outside was crisp and the sauce that goes with it pulls the entire thing together. Well played BK. Wendy's might have lost a loyal...
Read moreWe were on a 7-hr roadtrip home and chose BK over McDonalds because we noticed they had a PlayPlace for our kiddos to burn off some energy & we prefer BK. Sounded perfect. BIG MISTAKE. First of all, the order kiosks were down/offline. Then the order came out wrong, despite it being correct on our receipt. The most upsetting part about our experience is that this BK -- right off a major traveling highway -- did NOT have a diaper changing station in either restroom. When I asked the employees about it, they casually said "Oh yeah, we need one. You can just change their diapers on the floor in the PlayPlace. That's what everyone else does." I was shocked that they suggested I place my child on a dirty, cold tile floor to change my baby's diaper!! Who does that?! This is how customers are treated, really? If I had known this, we would have just sucked it up and gone to McDonalds. Never again will we trust BK to provide our family with everything we need to dine comfortably. It costs $120 to outfit a restroom with a diaper changing station. FOCUS UP,...
Read moreVery disappointing after a beautiful tear down and rebuild building. We ate breakfast at about 8:45 am July 4th. The place was dirty and full of flies. Outside there was empty and full cups of soda and other drinks laying on the sidewalk next to building. Windows were greasy and full of fingerprints. We had a coupon that had choices of three different meats but the lady at the counter didn't even ask what we wanted she just gave us sausage by default. And she wasn't friendly at all. I don't get why fast-food workers have to be so rude and non helpful. If ya don't like your job then quit and find another one that might help you smile. What has happened to Burger King? Do they really think you can build a beautiful store and open it up for business and think everything is just going to run flawlessly? I would take a closer look at the management at the Cedar City Burger King before you have to tear...
