Old Dog Coffee House — Restaurant in Cedar Creek Township

What an awesome mom & pop kinda coffee shop!! The staff here is always so happy & very helpful. All of the coffee's I have had from here have been amazing. They also have multiple monthly special drinks. So neat to try something new & different each time I go here. The shop itself is very nice, warm, & inviting. There is plenty of parking in the back. I have never sat outside; but they do have multiple tables to do just that. Even in the winter, they have little igloos over the outdoor tables. So you can still enjoy the outside without all the cold. I tried one of their bagels with some strawberry cream cheese & that was VERY YUMMY!! Their muffins look delicious as well, but I have not tried one as of yet. So, bottom line, if you're in the area, you should definitely skip stopping at DD & come try them out here!! So...

Everything I've tried here has been very flavorful. A lot of lattes at other places taste sweet but not necessarily like the flavor it's supposed to be. They must use good quality syrups and they don't skimp. Aside from the fabulous drinks the place is soo cute inside. You'll feel like home! It's about a 20 minute drive as we live in St John but totally worth it. My only complaint would be that I wish they stayed open later so we could go more often. There's also a loyalty card, outdoor seating in the back, and easy parking. Plus the owner [I'm guessing that's who she is] was really nice and welcoming. Our favorite place! OLD DOG COFFEE HOUSE located in the downtown area of Lowell, IN. is a cute coffee stop with bakery treats to accompany delicious coffee. This is a wonderful cozy place to catch up with friends or just sit quietly and read the paper. Outdoors behind the building are cafe tables with ample seating for a group. In the cooler months shelter around each table is provided reminiscent of see thru igloos, I believe with heating?? The coffee house is a great stop anytime. It is closed on Monday.
