Loven Oven Pizzeria — Restaurant in Cedar Creek Township

My husband and I were working late doing home renovations and decided to order pizza. It was already 8:30pm. We ordered the Hawaiian pizza with ham and pineapples (they do belong on pizza) as well as an order of breadsticks. We were told it would be delivered between 45 minutes and an hour. I knocked a star because it took an hour and 15 minutes. My husband called at an hour and 10 minutes asking about where the pizza was and without even asking for a name or what we ordered they said it was on the way (I'm assuming they just said that to please us). If you're busy I'd rather know it's going to take longer than sit there thinking my prepaid pizza was delivered to the wrong house. Anyways, it was WELL worth the wait. It was sooo delicious. The crust was a little tough in some areas but easy to over look because it was some of the best pizza we've had in a while. Three breadsticks were my favorite. Ordered delivery from Loving Oven today. So this review is based on food that was delivered. First off it was delivered hot. I had been craving a good meatball sandwich and these guys delivered (pardon the pun). Was surprised by the sauce flavor it was sweeter than I'm used to finding around here but it was very tasty. The meatballs could have been bigger since they were cut in half but had very good flavor. I was also craving onion rings and they did not disappoint. Perfectly cooked real onions, not chunks processed into round shape, and the batter was not the usual heavy flour and had a flavor all it's own that blended with the onion. Lastly I haven't had a soda since being diagnosed with cancer last year (doing fine thanks for asking) and I ordered a root beer that was at the top of their list and wow did that hit the spot. Sprechers was very good, not filling, didn't feel like I had just ingested a pound of carbonation, and the flavor was spot on again. It came with peppers and a pickle. There’s polite, and then there’s Loven Oven polite. We had a birthday party today at Funflatables and the delivery driver was the most polite driver I think I’ve even had the pleasure to meet. Not only was he polite and extremely nice but the pizza from this place was out of this world!!!! The sauce was amazing, the cheese perfectly gooey, with a unique crust which wrapped over the edge of the pizza. We were so worried they wouldn’t be able to deliver so early (12:30) but they did not disappoint. I’d rather give this place my business than Pizza Hut with it’s corporate pizza.
