Altogether, it's a great spot. We were seated almost instantly, and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. We had Dolmas, a gyro, and the Athenian burger. The food came out within a few minutes of ordering, with our appetizer coming out first, shortly followed by our meals. Everything was cooked correctly, fantastic Dolmas. The Gyro was a touch on the small side, but it tasted great and was seasoned well. The Athenian burger (Gyro meat on top of a burger) was fairly unique and really tasty! Overall, the whole experience was great, and we'll definitely be back! Only $50 for a good meal for two these days is very reasonable, in my opinion. Good food/ingredients cost money. A side note; some of the previous reviewers should be ashamed of themselves. If you visit a brand new restaurant and don't expect small hiccups, you're delusional. Leaving negative reviews for things that were obviously growing pains is just sad. Leaving negative reviews like that can really harm a new business, and these seem like really nice folks, trying their best to make their dream work. Be kind.

The food here is just fantastic! There's a lot of hard surfaces so when it gets busy the noise level goes up. Absolutely no complaints on the food or the service! Tim is wonderful. The hummus is an absolute do not miss. Also the baklava dessert. But the gyro meat is wonderful and the fragrant rice that goes along with it delightful. Highly recommend in the mountains it's hard to find good food.

Really enjoyed our girls lunch at Flamez Fusion. Our server, Tim, was such a nice guy. He was attentive and took great care of the five of us. We enjoyed the hummus and pita chips. The hummus was fresh and tasty. I had a chicken Greek salad bowl. It was made with crunchy lettuce, feta, olives, onions and good seasonings. We split the key lime pie for dessert. It was yummy.

Everything we had to eat there was absolutely amazing! Definitely the best Greek food (or possibly any kind of food in general) I've had in a very long time. Maybe even the best Greek I've ever had! We had the baba ghanoush for an appetizer, and it was so flavorful and the pita was so soft and fresh. My wife had the mixed grill plate. The chicken and beef were each seasoned to perfection and grilled just right. The tahini sauce was amazing and flavorful and paired so wonderfully with the grilled meats. I had their black and blue hamburger with their homemade hot sauce, and it was the best hamburger I've had in a long time. Their hot sauce is not hot in the slightest, but its extremely flavorful and complex. My wife and toddler also confirmed the hot sauce was not spicy. The sauce paired unbelievably well with the balsamic reduction on the hamburger. They actually season their hamburger meat unlike many restaurants. The hamburger comes with a side of French fries or a Greek salad at no extra charge! Most restaurants charge you extra if you want a salad! And people, the salad was AMAZING! The Greek salad that came with both my hamburger and my wife's meal was so fresh, and so zesty and delicious. We ate until we were stuffed, and then we left with leftovers for tomorrow. And after all of that, the prices were very reasonable. Again, they don't even up charge you for a salad instead of fries! We'll be back again!!! This is probably going to be our new favorite spot in the East Mountains, and maybe even all of Albuquerque area. This place is way better and cheaper than Yanni's on Central, and those guys have been...

Saturday lunch, 2 days after the opening: We had some issues with service that were understandable at a new place. The food took 35-40 minutes from the time we ordered to delivery. All tables were full so I attribute this to a new kitchen and a menu that looks a little overloaded (6 pages) for the size of the restaurant.

The servers were a little unfocused - one of them came up to us 25 minutes after we had ordered and asked if she could take our orders. Table bussing was haphazard - a clean table was left with conspicuous debris on the floor. Nit picking for sure but details matter in good dining spots.

The food itself was very good - a little under-seasoned to my taste but that's just me. Some of the beef in my wife's mixed grill was untrimmed and had very large pieces of inedible gristle. My falafel sandwich was served in the same tortilla as the wraps, even though they had the traditional pita bread available which would have been my preference. Again, these are mostly nits, not meant as part of a negative review but offered as constructive suggestions for a new place. We plan to visit again to try some other dishes.

One last comment - four troglodytes at a corner table had crawled out of their cave to entertain the whole room with load music and games from at least two mobile phones while waiting for their food. In the future, it would be nice if the service staff would ask people like that to...

Was excited to try something exotic There was no more ambiance than the past restaurants at this location Ok no big deal coz I'm there for the food Then we realize it's sweltering AC broken They had doors open and ONE fan We had to sit near front door as that was the only bearable area temperature wise But there was a loud clanging windchime near the the door so we were 1 still hot 2 straining to have a conversation

Ok now we are REALLY here JUST for the food

So I order CHICKEN shawarma platter Friend orders gyro WRAP

Mine turned out to be beef instead of chicken My friend got a platter instead of a wrap They had to bring her pita bread Gryo platter: lamb had no lamb flavor n friend realized it was NOT lamb So I guess beef is cheaper n they try to pass it off as lamb

The rice was hard as if not cooked enough or dried out after cooking or grilled I don't know

Salad was, well Salad Baklava- worst either of us had ever tasted

No layers , tons of pistachio , almost no honest n none of that gooey filling that the pistachios r usually mixed in with Dry flavorless n barely sweet

I won't go back I predict this is yet another business at this address that...
