Love this place and the deli! We come here specifically for them! The lemon bars and sandwiches are my favorite! The only thing is that there isnât a schedule listed for the open times of the deli and no signage saying when they stop making sandwiches. Came in 40 minutes before 2 asking for Sandwiches(3) and was met with âoh my godâ followed by an exasperated sigh from the head baker and the other worker saying they were closing soon and had prepackaged sandwiches and subtly implying they wouldnât make them for us.. and this was after they saw us standing there waiting for them to even acknowledge us and couldâve easily asked us and just said they stopped making sandwiches at 1 or something. The reaction was unnecessary and it was an awkward situation to be put in when thereâs nowhere saying they stop making sandwiches almost an hour before closing and being made to feel like an inconvenience. I understand having freshly sliced meat takes longer and is better quality but if making sandwiches is such an inconvenience I suggest finding ways to make that job easier like slicing meat during closing or opening shifts or getting rid of specialty sandwiches all together(or put signage up). This was the only bad experience weâve had here and I would like to say that the cashiers are always nice and the other day we did have an extremely amazing bakery worker make our sandwiches and she was the...
Read moreSimilar to the last reviewer, I have had very similar experiences at Triangle as a person with piercings and tattoos. It is wildly clear that this establishment profiles and the staffâs behavior mirrors this. I am never welcomed by the staff at the register, not even a simple âhiâ or âhelloâ. While shopping through the store, the staff completely ignores me, and asking for help is nearly impossible because the staff acts like itâs a major interruption.
I have shopped with Triangle since their old location just near Frost Rd, but thatâs because theyâre the only source here in the East Mountains. If it wasnât for that, I WOULD NEVER SHOP THERE. If you can avoid this place, please do. Iâm appalled at the absolute lack of professionalism and care for the customers. Itâs very off-putting to watch the clerk have a happy conversation with the customer ahead of you, only to be looked at with judgmental eyes and silence when you come up.
Triangle severely needs to mature. Coupled with inflated prices (youâll find that echoed through other reviews), this business is a waste of time.
Time to grow up, Triangle and staff. Stop being hypocrites; some of the staff have tattoos. Itâs disgusting how you have treated me and my family, simply because we look different. Iâll also be filing a BBB complaint in regards to their...
Read moreThe Triangle is an invaluable, long-standing local resource with an excellent selection of produce, (organic and commercial) health goods, groceries, paper goods, a high quality staffed meat dept., a large deli and bakery, flowers, cards, and gifts. It contains by FARTHE BEST liquor/beer/wine Department in the East Mountains! The employees are first rate, hardworking, and knowledgeable. It remains the only independent, locally owned grocery serving the Sandia Park/ Cedar Crest/ Tijeras area. Being privately owned, some of the finer items may also bear an impressive price tag. Still, there is a nice range of quality and prices that can satisfy just about everyoneâs budget. Rita, the owner, and her staff are to be commended for going above and beyond to provide for their loyal locals during the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic. Some items such as TP or bleach may not be on the shelf for a reason. Please ask an employee. Such crucial items are in all likelihood kept in back and are limited one per purchase per family.
NOTICE: STORE CLOSES AT 6pm at this writing, so arrive early, shop solo if possible. Please use a plastic bag when selecting produce & thank your workers for suiting up and showing up for...
