Casey's — Restaurant in Cedar Rapids

The employees here are wonderful and always pleased to serve their customers. This Casey’s has definitely stepped up its game and it definitely shows. The fountain area is usually still a mess but other than that everything here at this Casey’s is amazing. The kitchen staff and the register staff do what it takes to make sure the customers are pleased. They could still work on making sure they are getting stuff stocked as they should because the ice cream is still never stocked as it should be the ice cream will sit in their freezer for days before they actually get it put out but they are always willing to go grab the ice cream from the freezer that I am looking for. I don't want to negatively review this store as the people and service have typically been good. However caseys as a whole deserves a 1 star. Besides the expired food they stock on the shelves, caseys gas is so bad it shouldn't be used in anything. They allow more water in their gas than most other companies. This is the 2nd time I've got gas from them that was so watered down my engine stalled. When I reported it. They said it wasn't their fault, however after draining the tank and replacing the gas from another gas station. The problem was instantly fixed. If they go so cheap on gas. Called to order a pizza for pickup and had the odd experience of dealing with Jason. I asked for any specials and said “I don’t think I can tell you about those kind of specials”. Rattled off some pizza specials and then said “those are the only specials I’m allowed to tell you about”. What does that even mean? Anyways he took my order and told me it would be 30 minutes. My boyfriend gets there 26 minutes later and is told that the pizza has not been made yet and it would be at least 30-35 minutes. He canceled the order.
