Taco John's — Restaurant in Cedar Rapids

I stopped in a few weeks ago. I was the only person standing inside and they only had two cars in the drive-thru. I stood there for an extremely long time just waiting for anyone to even acknowledge me. There were at least four people in their tiny kitchen right there and some of them would look up at me but not one person even said hello or will be right with you. They literally just kept ignoring me. I just left. I decided to try them again today and they also weren't busy at this time. One of the burritos I ordered the, chicken bacon ranch, I got home and they gave me a meat and potato burrito. They're not even busy And that's not even close to what I ordered. I called and let them know I can't pick it up tonight and they said that they will write my name on a whiteboard but at the end of every month they erase everything so I only have until the end of September to get it. I have 11 days to get it. I asked why they can't just use a paper list in a binder like a lot of other places use to keep track of it and got told that they can't keep track of everything. That is completely ridiculous. I will not be coming back...

I ordered 2 tacos one steak and the other shrimp. I told them 5 different times NO ONIONS! And they put onions on it. I got a mouth full of onions when i took the first bite. I am highly allergic to onions. The supervisor told my wife that she couldnt refund our money and said we would have to talk to the owner about it. Never said when the owner would be in. She offered to remake it the way I wanted it or give me a coupon. Sorry I dont go back to a place where they mess up my order just so they can do whatever to my food. All I simple wanted was NO ONIONS and NO LETTUCE! Now I have to deal with this bad allergic reaction! Never will I go back to this place again! If you are highly allergic to something open it up and make sure it's not in there!! I'm not very happy with this...

Went through the drive through around 7am. Ordered a sausage scrambler burrito meal and a two mini burritos meal. The potatoes I received were over cooked and cooked in old grease. I could tell because they were dark colored with black stuff on them. Then I realized they didn't give me the correct burrito. This wouldn't have been a big deal if they were busy, but they weren't. We were the only people in the drive through! On top of them giving me the wrong food, the food was NOT good. The tortilla was dry and cracking apart, and the egg and sausage inside of it was cold. I will not be going to this taco johns again. I will stick to the one on the other side of town. It is a thousand times better and the employees are...
