I didn’t expect the main store to be closed. Then again, the shack was open half a block away. When I arrived, they had just sold out of the brisket (left me a little disappointed). Fortunately, the Three Bone Rib combo was still available and I found it to be pretty good. The rib sauce was a great blend of sweet and spicy, adding even more flavor to the ribs. The potato salad was a nice cool contrast to the cooked foods in my combo. And the beans were supplemented by some chunks of ground beef and jalapeños, an excellent choice. The next time I go, I’ll have to be sure to arrive earlier to have more options available. And hopefully the main sit-in restaurant area will be open.

Willy Ray was super nice! I ordered brisket but they were already out for the day and the chicken is dark meat which I'm not a fan of. I'm not a fan of pork so I did the ribs which were very good. The potato salad was good. I'm not a huge fan of beans but I tried them, they were good for beans. My husband had a pulled pork sandwich which he said was very good. Very well presented.

Great experience today coming through the drive thru. The worker was so kind he went above and beyond for my fur baby, as she is passing soon, he gave us great service and a bit extra meat for my Lil on her last day. Thank you for your kindness, sir! Lily really loves your food!!! So tasty from us as well!

No better restaurant on planet earth. Do you think I'm exaggerating? I have never been to Iowa, but I know they are the best. I was in my old Korean War veteran father's home in North Fort Myers when Hurricane Ian hit. I am third generation from Fort Myers. Fort Myers had no surge from any hurricane in 111 years before Hurricane Ian. We went underwater. Miles up the Caloosahatchee River where my dad grew up, our entire neighborhood went underwater. My dad lost all his worldly possessions. We had no food, no water, no electricity, no cell phone service. We had nothing but destruction. In the weeks after, no national charity showed up to help at ground zero of hurricane Ian. We never saw red cross, salvation army or any other national charity that begged for people to send money to help the victims of hurricane Ian. Who did we see help? Two groups: the local Ocean Church (handing out subs and drinks door to door to people who lost everything) and some people who set up a BBQ stand in the local parking lot of Big Lots. All I remembered was a big Q on their trailer. They handed out amazing meals for free to our locals who lost their homes and everything else. We had nothing to eat and here they were handing out amazing meals for free. I could not find them for years, but I'm so grateful I have now. I will never forget what you did for our people in Florida after the worst tragedy...

I wish I could give a glowing report like everyone else. Unfortunately our experience has left me confident I won't be using Willie Ray's in the future. I ordered 16 lunches for a work function. I called on Tuesday and gave the order for Friday. I called on Thursday and confirmed the order and again stated we would be arriving at 11 to pick up our food. The food was not ready until 1130. I had 16 people at the office ready to eat food at 1130. There are lunch specials on the website for a different item each day. 8-10 dollars with 2 sides. When our total came to 260 some dollars which was 100 dollars more than I had anticipated Willie told me he couldn't run a business and make money if he sold lunches for 8-10 dollars and when I pointed out that is what his website quoted he said he wasn't aware of that and if it did then it wouldn't come with 2 sides and I said it is in writing on your website it comes with 2 sides! He basically did not care and ended the conversation. I was disappointed that someone that is so appreciative of social media recognition for the positive things he does is not aware of his own website content. He hasn’t up dated pricing so beware of pricing increase on your receipt! The least he could do is honor the price when someone questions it. In the future we will utilize a...

Wanted to try the Smoked Brisket last Friday but was told they didn’t have any. So decided to stop by there today thinking the Daily Special for Friday- Smoked Brisket - $10. I ordered 3 specials which totaled to $48.15. I questioned the amount and was told that they raised the prices. Disappointed by the false information provided by their website; I agreed to purchase the specials. The guy insisted for a tip. I decided to wait on the tip due to having to pay an additional $18. The guy didn’t look too happy with that. When I received the meals. The disappointment again set in at the size portions I was given.l which were incredibly small for a $16 meal. After eating the sandwich. I started to notice a few black hairs on the potato salad and my n the styrofoam itself. Came to the assumption that they were not wearing beard hair nets.

Long story short. This place lacked customer service/hospitality, priced too high, and food quality extremely poor.

I definitely won’t be eating here again. Nor would I recommend this...
