We just ate here tonight. I wanted to start this review by saying our waitress was wonderful and did everything she should/could do while we were there. Let’s get into the food. Chicken kabobs the chicken was moist and over all good but BLAND. Couldn’t taste anything seasoning. The rice and vegetables underneath it were absolutely bland and no seasoning either. Rated 3/10 Salmon- absolutely no seasoning of any kind or lemons with it. Our waitress kindly brought them upon asking her. Also was overcooked. Rated 1/10 Spinach and artichoke dip- this was absolutely gross in my opinion. No one liked it. 1/10 Hummus plate- the hummus was terrible and gritty. Unfortunately the presentation was awful and it ended up looking like piles of throwup. 1/10 Chicken wings. We got the bbq flavor and unfortunately it looked like they dumped some cookies bbq sauce in a bowl and tossed them. The cooking of them was fine but taste was not. 3/10 Pot roast- overall this was the best item out of anything. Mashed potatoes were good and the meat was very tender. This I would recommend. 8/10 I would highly recommend upping their game. The food was overall 2/10 and expensive. $22 for two kabobs and rice is too much. Appetizers were $14.99 a piece way too much. I am trying to be completely honest and give a real review and I’m sorry if it comes out as rude but I took my time writing this and am being...
Read moreI believe this restaurant has a tacky atmosphere. The menu is unusual and the decor, which attempts a Steam punk aesthetic, is not well-suited for an Italian/Mediterranean restaurant. The lighting is quite odd and possibly even agitating. Everything appears to have been hastily assembled. The fine dining table settings and white table cloths seem out of place. Former Edison diners have expressed similar sentiments, stating that the food is mediocre and overpriced, although some patrons have provided positive feedback. The manager, who should be receiving a salary, also takes tables and pockets tips, which may be in violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act. This practice detracts from the earnings of servers, who are paid less than $5 per hour. The restaurant seems to have an excessive number of servers, yet a lack of traffic/business. As a result, managers and staff members are often seen eating and using...
Read moreWhat a wonderful experience! I've been curious about this new spot since they opened. I decided to stop in for a late lunch and try it out before going with family friends, or work group. I'm so glad I did. •High-End appearance, but very warm and inviting atmosphere. •Perfect Lighting •Variety in seating choices (High tables, regular seating, cozy semi-private noches, etc) • Very Clean • Very welcoming and attentive servers! • Fast Service • EXCELLENT FOOD! I tried the Crab Cakes and the Tuscany Chicken Rice Bowl with a Peach Sweet Tea. I enjoyed every bit and have leftovers for later. I have no complaints. Before I left, I even had an opportunity to meet the owner, Juan, and had a brief, but pleasant chat. You should most definitely plan to visit. I know I plan to return regularly to try...
