On the advice of our family members, we ventured down to Cedarville to try the pizza here. This is a very hometown Mom & Pop type restaurant right downtown. The interior was warm on this cool night. The furnishings are kind of a mishmash of furniture. We sat in a larger booth that would benefit from some cushions. We all ordered different pizzas, and they came out in no time. The toppings were pretty generous and tasty. The crust is kinda like a hand tossed. The outside is thick and crunchy. The middle was a little under done. Could have used a couple more minutes in the oven. The sauce is tangy and deep with tomato flavor. I will definitely come back and try another pizza combination. Prices are fair.

Between our visits to John Bryan State Park and the Indian Mound Reserve, we stopped by Colonial Pizza for a late lunch. To our surprise, the back patio overlooked a creek with some spectacular fall colors. I thoroughly enjoyed my regular crust Works pizza with salad and breadsticks. My wife said the Gluten Free crust on her veggie pizza tasted very good. The service was fast and friendly. We’ll definitely be back next time we visit the parks in this area. The patio is dog friendly.

The food was delicious, but it was a bit costly for the amount we received. I came to Colonial after a neighbor suggested it. For $3 we received what looked like a happy meal amount of fries. They were good! We order the nachos and got very little cheese, chips, salsa, and peppers for $6. Our pizza was good, but we also had to carefully pull each piece apart. It was not cut too well. Tried it out and wanted to give it a better review, but couldn't with the low portion sizes.

I was really looking forward to our visit. They have a sign outside that advertises jazz 6-8pm and the reviews seemed positive. Perhaps I'll give the place another chance, but I am really unsure.

A few things... we did not know that they don't have table service. You have to order at the front and then seat yourself. We stood there for at least 5 minutes before the young man behind the counter said something to us. In the meantime, an older gentleman (perhaps the owner ? ) walked by us at least once bringing food to tables. So, IF you go, order at the front.

While we were waiting, I noticed I didn't hear any music, and it was Wednesday around 6:15pm or so. That seemed odd. I thought maybe the music started late?

So, we seated ourself in a booth and waited for our food. The older person (graying hair) delivered my salad. He practically threw it on the table and just gave an impression of being gruff. Perhaps he was having a bad day - we all do - but it just didn't help matters any.

We received our dinners - I had lasagna and my husband had pizza. Again, the same person delivered the food. We noticed the pizza wasn't cut. What?! My husband had to go to the front to ask about getting the pizza cut. Why didn't the person delivering the food notice?

The lasagna noodles were chewy and the filling was ok. It wasn't terrible, but it wasn't great either. The breadsticks were awesome, although because they seemed to be cooked in the foil in which they were served, the foil stuck to the bread.

I was fairly eager to finish my meal and go home. There was no music, and I really didn't enjoy the experience. I know a lot of people rave about the place, but if you look at the less positive reviews, you'll see some of the same concerns that I have here - the attitude of the owner is mentioned, and I am just wondering if the owner was the person delivering food. Maybe they were short staffed. Maybe he was having a bad day. I might try the place again to give it another chance, especially given the limited places...

We ordered two of the Friday night specials and requested one pizza with light cheese and nothing on the breadsticks, just plain due to not caring for alot of garlic. We have done this several times before with only having an issue one other time. This time they had the garlic stuff on them so my husband took them back into the store. He told the young lady at the counter the breadsticks were supposed to be plain. Well, the lady in the back said they didn't come "plain" and my husband said we always get them plain. Then she started raising her voice at my husband and said you didn't order them correctly and told him how to place the order. He calmly told her he did order them with nothing on them and had repeated the order to the lady on the phone to make sure she had it. Arguing with a customer especially in a room full of other customers is very poor customer relations. This did happen one other time with the same woman over a breadsticks order and she raised her voice at my husband at that time also. We didn't go back for several weeks. This visit was the second one since we started getting pizzas there again and we're done. The food is really good and we drove 45 minutes to get it but we don't need to be treated like that because they got our order wrong. To add insult, we were charged regular price for the whole order so there was no Friday night special. So...

We placed an online order for pickup, two pizza’s, one pepperoni and one chicken alfredo pizza, and an Asian salad. When we came in to pick it up, we were accused by the manager of having beer in our coffee cups and questioned several times about it while we waited to pick up our order. Then we received food that was not made as expected. The website states that the chicken alfredo pizza comes with chicken, Alfredo sauce, bacon, onions, and cheese, but our pizza only had chicken, cheese, and sauce. The website also states that the Asian salad comes with spring mix, red cabbage, craisins, almonds, rice noodles, chicken and Asian dressing. Our salad was made with iceberg lettuce instead of spring mix and came with raspberry dressing instead of Asian dressing. Since we were visiting from out of town, there was no way to have our order corrected. But when we called in to let them know our order was wrong, we were met with a rude response from the owners son that our order wasn’t made incorrectly, but that the website was incorrect and they apparently are not responsible for what their website says. We will not be eating at this...
