Vito’s Italian Ice — Restaurant in Center Township

Let me just say once we visited your establishment for the first time you secured a repeat customer. We absolutely love everything you have. Everything is amazing there. I really hope that you guys give the surrounding area sweet spots a run for their money. Since our first visit, any time my family and I are craving something sweet you are the first place we have in mind. If we are craving it on the days you are closed, we patiently wait for the days you are open. I can't speak highly enough of how impressed I am with your business and there's nothing better than supporting the small businesses. Not to mention, every time I come in everyone is always in a good mood and presents me with a smile. It can make even the worst person's day go from bad to good. I just wanted to show my appreciation for your spectacular business and amazing customer service. Tonight I came in and ordered Italian ice for the whole family. I also ordered two cannolis which were saved for the following day and extremely delicious. The pumpkin/apple cider mix was absolutely amazing. Looking forward to our next visit and to see what I decide to try next. You guys are truly how every successful business should aspire to be. See you soon and have a wonderful night.

The review above was from 2 weeks ago when we visited. We stopped again tonight and as always the owner and the girl helping were extremely pleasant and so cheerful. Thankfully we got the last of the peach ice and I'm happy we did, because it was delicious. Anyone who could give this place a bad review is either always in a bad mood or unhappy with wherever they go. I hope this place is around for years to come. It is a delectable treat that the whole family enjoys and everything is so fresh....

Im rating 1 star for customer service. Came in so excited to try Vito’s! Within six seconds my vibe had changed. Italian ice is my favorite. I’ve always had it in Chicago on Taylor Street. I was throwing a party (drove from Chesterton) and went in to get large pints/gallons to serve. The young boy behind the counter sitting on his stool was so rude! Explained they only came in cups, not in pints or gallons. I asked him which flavors had real fruits-he actually said chocolate😳 I asked for a taste of strawberry so I could see how big fruit chunks were. He said no “it taste like strawberry” condescending, rude couldn’t wait to get back on his stool after serving. He made the whole experience awful and I will never set foot in...

Cedar Lake Chamber of Commerce recommended the Cedar Lake Vito's Italian ice@ What a wonderful, fantastic experience from the employees to their delicious Italian ice! Not only was the Italian Ice awesomely delicious but it contains real fruit pieces. I tried the grape and strawberry. To die for! If you are here as a tourist visiting our wonderful Town during the summer months, check out all of our restaurants and bars. BUT you need to check out VITO'S Italian ice. It is a given.
