Coming from a South Texas border town, I am extremely familiar with great Mexican food so coming up to East Texas, I admit I was somewhat skeptical if the food was going to taste authentic. It not only taste authentic, it surpasses some of the restaurants from my hometown of Eagle Pass. Our waitress was extremely courteous and the food came out in a timely fashion. The chips and salsa was some of the best I’ve ever tasted. Center, Texas has a hidden gem in Casa Grande. When I come back next year for my son’s summer camp, I will definitely be back here. We were seated right before this large (12-top or so) table and they had their drink orders taken, second round of drinks, and nearly had their food before we even had our drink orders taken. We went up and asked the hostess if we had a waiter and she said it was the guy doing the 12-top. And it wasn’t like he didn’t see us - he smiled and nodded a couple of times and at one point tossed napkins on our table from the big table.
The hostess apologized and said he “had issues”.

Served bubbling in a bowl with Poblano peppers and onions. It looked more like stew than fajitas. Also came with the regular accompanying fajita preparations; homemade tortillas, guacamole, pico de gallo, sour cream, and shredded cheese. When I put it all in a tortilla the taste was phenomenal.
