Waffles 'N More — Restaurant in Central City

The food was good once it finally came. We stopped for breakfast while traveling through Central City. Like most breakfast patrons we wanted coffee and breakfast, then back on the road. It took around 15 minutes for a server to acknowledge us. She brought a carafe of coffee. The coffee tasted burnt and was very weak. We do not complain at restaurants, so perhaps this was a one off. The food took a little over 30 minutes and the restaurant wasn’t particularly busy. In all it took us close to an hour and half to eat breakfast. We had a fun day planned and thought we would start out with a fun breakfast. We we're super excited when we pulled up and it was super cute inside. Then we sat down and it all went down hill. None even acknowledged us for 15 minutes. Then they finally took out order. I ordered coffee to drink, that the waitress for some reason didn't have woth her already, and my wife ordered a Sprite. Classic small town country diner. I had one of the best omlettes I've ever had. Three eggs fried almost as thin as a crepe, then absolutely stuffed with chopped steak, mushrooms, onions, and cheese. Has browns were crazy good, crisp around the edges, soft in the middle. My order took two plates, the hash browns and toast on one plate and the omlettes another. Both plates were full.
