Hachi Express Japanese Grille ( Central Sc) — Restaurant in Central

The one in Seneca in my fave! So I wanted to try this location. The food didn’t taste good it was off tasting for some reason . My daughter also got sick the next morning throwing up . I’ve been here twice the first time I ordered the kids hibachi . it seems as if there was barely any chicken in either . And the regular size hibachi was the same amount of chicken as the kids, just double rice. In Seneca the kids portion is well over enough to feed 2 . The regular size usually enough to feed 3 w plenty of chicken . There no prices on the menu at this location so that’s kinda weird . Every customer should leave with an Itemized reciept to know what they’re paying for . The ladies at the drive through window charged me $15 and some change for a hibachi chicken order . I payed with card . The price seems off for a hibachi plate so I called and asked how much just the plate was .she stated $12 and some change . Now wait a min . I had to call back and speak to the manager I’m assuming .of course I kept my receipt and he was able to pull up what I was charged for . There was a side of ZUCCHINI & onion added to my check that I didn’t ask for nor did I receive the side of veggies . He was very nice and apologized & said we make mistakes too but that didn’t seem like a mistake to me . Told me to come back and he will return the $3 back to my card . Although I appreciate the gesture . That’s not good enough for me I live almost 15 miles away from the store . By that time I’ve used more than $3 in gas . I’ll just take that very small loss . Not a good first impression! After sitting down it took about 10 minutes to get noticed and have our drink orders taken...another 10 to get drinks. We were on the verge of leaving when our drinks came...we never received refills or menus. We ordered steak and shrimp-carrots were cold and the steak and shrimp was so salty we couldnt finish our food. Some customers that came in while we were eating actually got up and made their own drinks, some left before they were ever noticed. We had to get our own to-go boxes and ask the only waitress to check us out. Don't know if they had a staffing issue today or what, but would definitly not recommend going if you are pushed for time, do not enjoy salty food, or when students...

The new blonde-headed white cashier has a very nasty attitude. We visited this restaurant on a Saturday afternoon. We placed our orders and waited for our food. After getting to the car, we realized we didn't get our shrimp sauce. When we went back inside to ask for the sauce, the blonde-headed cashier accused us of taking the sauce out of the bag. We went as far as opening the bag AND the plates. She had a very haughty and accusatory attitude. WHO STEALS SHRIMP SAUCE?! After going back and forth, she finally went and got us the sauce. She has a terrible attitude and from the other reviews, we are not the only ones who have experienced it. After being a long time customer at this business, we will never step foot back...
