Upon entering the establishment, one cannot help but notice how drab the dining room is. Orbs of moisture stains crawl along the drop ceiling. The tables and booths are outdated. Piggybacking on the University motif (like almost everything in Clemson), plush tigers adorn the restaurant. The food is . . .well, Plain. The pizzas aren't anything to write home about. The sandwiches are greasy and clearly made from frozen ingredients. Something tells me -- being a long time cook -- their kitchen relies heavily on can openers and microwaves. Every fried dish I've ordered has come out over cooked. I even had an order of Jalapeno poppers that were burnt. Luckily I was as drunk as Cooter Brown, so it didn't bother me.
I wanted to wait to submit a review. I didn't want to leave a not-so-flattering blurb due to a one-off lackadaisical meal. But after several chances, I've come to the conclusion that lackadaisical is the norm. Make no mistake, the food isn't bad; it's adequate . . . That's all. In summation, if you're drunk as a monk on Christmas, and need something starchy to stuff into your face so you don't throw up a stomach full of vodka, the choice is obvious (I recommend the gyro). But if you're sober, looking for a meal you will actually remember the next morning, there are other options. Take the...

The beef patty did not seem to be freshly ground, nor did I expect it to be. Nonetheless, it was good. My family likes coleslaw, and we were not disappointed - yum. Five Guys gives an extra order of fries on every order. I would say Tiger does the same. It was so many that I could not finish mine. My wife commented on the quality of the iced tea. It may be on par with Chick-fil-A's tea, which is high praise. Thanks for a delicious supper at a great price.
....updated Fed 7, 2023..... Tonight was our first time to dine-in. The (blue-eyed) young lady who waited on us was incredibly kind and efficient. (My thanks to the gentleman who put the TV on a family-friendly channel and turned the volume down.) My wife and son shared a burger plate and the chicken tender plate - both were very good. I had the Philly Steak & Cheese. It was loaded with cheese, and the beef was 'second to none' -sliced thin, tender, and very flavorful. The iced tea was perfect and fries were...
Read moreOnly seen one server the whole time. Not sure of her name but apparently she a single mom& don’t go to Clemson because she can’t afford it so that might tell you who she is. She was very rude I asked her for a cup of ice and she rudely put it on the table and kept walking. Asked her for a Togo box and she told me I was gonna have to wait so I waited up front and she went out of her way to take it to the table which makes it hard on no one but herself. Then go to pay and she says I’m gonna have to wait on that while she gets organized but it’s her job. She then started breathing hard and finally rung it up for 31$ which I knew wasn’t right. She redid it and got a totally different amount. I guess trying to take money?? Idk but whoever owns this I feel bad that this is who you have for server& customer service. She stated she’s tired of getting cussed out in the ear but when you are this rude what do you expect? Never had such a bad...
