6:39 Pm December 31st. Watson La. Popeyes I went to pick up chicken for an order. Door Dashing Had a long line at the drive thru, the lobby was locked. I was waiting 30 minutes in the drive thru and called the customer to see if they wanted anything else while I was there.
When I got to the order speaker they told me they did not have the order they were out. I and asked If customers wanted something else. I was at speaker to order!
The person on speaker ("said get out of his line I was holding it up"), started to cuss - verbally assaulted me Last time I checked a customer pays their paycheck. The customer heard it all , so did my dash cam.
I called the store asked for manager and it was the manager who was on speaker and cussed me, verbally threatening.
This is will not go away until I see managers fired. I will continue to call corporate and complain until the manager is fired.
Popeyes had taken an order online and should at least try to make it right instead of telling people not to spend your money here and get out of the line .
Not letting customers order something to replace the order with that the store could not fill due to no or low inventory - is the stores problem ,not the customer who spends money there. Very poor choice in management!
I called Popeyes corporate office and will continue until, the manager is fired.
Hopefully you have better experience with the lack of customer service culture this Popeyes seems to think bullying customers is ok . Popeyes Customer went hungry most importantly because the store would not let him order anything else to replace the order the store could not fill.
Marked this store as an unsafe location. Hope this helps you decide not to spend money here.

Read moreLet’s be honest. Most successful businesses run the risk of losing their Mojo whenever the original owners sell to larger corporations. In my personal opinion. That may explain what has happened to Popeyes Fried Chicken.
Back whenever Al Copeland owned and operated the original Popeyes chain. The chicken portions were larger, spicier, tastier and the service and overall quality was just simply irresistible. This is why Popeyes fried chicken became an overnight success.
The Red Beans & Rice had more beans than rice. Corn on the cob was on the menu. The Mash Potatoes & gravy is still good today, taste wise, but served in infant sized portions.
I get it. We’re going through a tough economy so businesses have to accommodate.
However, strictly speaking for myself. Whenever I’m ready to dine out. I’m more concerned about quality rather than the price. If I’m trying to save money. I’ll go home and fix myself a sandwich. Whenever I dine out, even if it’s a fast food restaurant. I expect quality because I’m paying more for my meal.
If you have to raise the prices. Well then by God raise the prices. I wouldn’t like it, but I would certainly understand it and pay the higher price as long as the quality remains the same.
But serving quail-sized chicken pieces, baby food portions of mashed potatoes, and a spoonful of red-beans with a cup of rice. That’s not a sound strategy. ESPECIALLY when menu prices are rising irregardless.
I have nothing personally against Popeyes fried chicken. I love the chicken, well I used to.
The current overall quality of the food, the cleanliness of the facilities, some ( not all ) lackluster attitudes of the employees makes me yearn for the old Copeland...
Read moreI would put 0 stars if I could. Ordered over $100 worth of food on the app. Placed the order for pick up at a specific time. Arrived at the store to pick up my food. My receipt to my order is still sitting on the counter. They haven’t even began to put the order together. I wait 45 minutes for them to start prepping the order. They tell me they are out of spicy chicken and they only have mild. Cool, give me mild chicken instead. I ordered white meat only to find out all they have is dark available. I ORDERED WHITE NOT DARK. I was then told it would be another 20+ minutes for white meat. Over an hour of waiting only to be told I have to wait another 20 minutes for white meat while they fill everyone’s orders that walks through the door but mine. I then ask for a refund. I am told because I order on the app I have to go through the app. That is a whole other issue. You can not speak to a human on the app. You have to submit a support ticket and they do not tell you if you will or will not receive a refund. DO NOT order on the app whatsoever and I will NEVER eat Popeyes again. Poor service and lack of professionalism at this location. I called and placed an order with Raising Canes and they had my food ready in less than 10 minutes after...
