Pizza Place — Restaurant in Louisiana

This evening marked the end of Lent.

I had given up pizza this Lenten Season because it is one of my favorite meals.

So tonight, in craving and in the anticipation of my first pizza in 40 days ~and in these trying times, I chose to order “Local”.

Papa John’s and other National chains are open and will survive this crisis.

It’s our local, down home, mom and pop businesses they need our support ~ not only in good times, but especially now!!

So I had read reviews about “Pizza Place” in DS all very good! I had never before had anything from them. Tonight, as I celebrated the end of Lent, I chose them for my first pizza in 40 days (a gal who has at least 1 pizza a week!!)

OMG ~ The young lady who took my phone order was delightful and officiant! The young man who delivered my order was friendly and very joyous !

And for the pièce de résistance ~ The pizza was Superb, Outstanding, and Wonderful!!!!

I went against the bad reviews and came here, i made a mistake. i ordered the catfish poboy to-go. i got in the car and at 3 bites outside of the pizza place, on the third bite i bit into a hard peice of black square metal, i spit it out on the bag they give it to u in. literally as im spitting it out the cashier walks next to my car to help a customer waiting outside. i rolled down my window and told her to come see. she then noticed the black metal i referenced to that almost broke my teeth. she said omg im so sorry it is from our fryer !!!! I just ordered a shrimp poboy for my husband and a small side of shrimp for my toddler. I was told over the phone when I ordered that it would be simple to ring up the extra side of shrimp as if it was an add on to a seafood platter.

I get there to pick up my order and my extra side of shrimp is missing. I was told that they mistakenly put the extra side of shrimp onto my husband’s Poboy. When I stood there as if to get my extra side of shrimp, I was told that I could go home and pick off the extra shrimp from the Poboy. “Sorry”

I understand food costs, and that they are rising every day. I would never want to take something that I didn’t order, however, I don’t feel like this was my error. It would have probably been more cost-effective just to give me 8 shrimp, then it would have been to...
