4.5 stars. chose to eat our road trip lunch here today based on the reviews online and we were really happy we did. Have stopped many places in town for lunch over the last several years as a meeting point with relatives from Portland. But never here as we have always eaten closer to I-5. Judy’s beats them all! I’m going to keep this spot a secret from the family I think. The first thing you will notice is the portions coming by are MASSIVE. Especially at breakfast. Look at the online pics or ask before you order. Example: Biscuits and Gravy full order is 6!! House baked biscuit covered in homemade gravy. That’s three full biscuits! It’s insane. My wife’s choice today was the BLT with tots. Nicely done with thick meaty bacon. I went with the Breakfast Burrito. It came (over)stuffed with 3 meats, cheese, peppers, and onions and perfectly grilled. I decided I had to try the biscuits so I asked if I could receive one instead of the menu listed hash browns and our server said sure. The biscuits were fresh, light, and fluffy. And also quite big. Nice Honey butter. Biscuit was a delicious compliment to the burrito. Better be hungry. Service a bit slow due, I assume, to need for employees like so many places but very cordial and helpful. Fun and funky downhome décor adds to the experience. Will look to hit them up again on next trip through town. Highly...

Ok soooo my wife picked this place to go have breakfast and man what a super pick it was. When your out of town and don’t know where to go and eat we often just go with something local so we can experience the area. Well Judy’s did a great job of making us feel right at home. The diner is very clean on the outside and inside, also very charming with its country decor. They also have a gift shop that has some nice items for sale too. So let me say this bring you Appetite when you come here because the food it hot, delicious and plentiful we decided to share our breakfast and I’m so glad we did because we couldn’t even eat the one meal let alone two meals. You will see from the pictures what I mean by that. They also do a veteran/military discount too. And they have a great story in the menu. Judy is a very nice owner and the servers all said so and she greeted us with a nice smile when we walked in. The people that go there were very nice as well. They do a breakfast/lunch so we will have to go there again and try one of their hamburger and salads. They had great desserts too we brought a couple to go. No why we could...

I love this great and friendly restaurant not only can you get great homestyle food but you can joke and tease the stuff and they dish it right back!! Its the way its supposed to be I love Judy's café but make a reservation cuz its packed from the time they open till close and I dont care what the price of the good it is well worth every penny best breakfast and brunch restaurant in lewis county.. Ya just dont find a better place these days or they are disappearing. And good luck on any morning getting a seat cuz they are always packed but I would bring my sleeping bag the night before if I had to. Waitresses and owner are there every day you can joke or razz them and they give it right back they have all worked together for years and possibly since the beginning but I haven't been alive that long... Swear if your ever on lewis county its a must and a experience you'll be happy you did And the food its always hot and oh lord best around here! If you have a bad experience which I have in the 20 or so years I have Bern going there have never ever saw they will make it eight or I will buy your breakfast or lunch or...

If I was to say her food was outstanding I still wouldn't give Judy's Country Kitchen the justice it deserves. The food at her establishment was way beyond outstanding. The food that she serves is in great portions, reasonably priced, and her staff were all extraordinary professional, friendly, and polite. Our waitress Linda was way above what we expected. She was very attentive, and was on top of everything. Then to top that off my family finally got a chance to meet Judy. Judy was warm, welcoming, and helpful to me and my family. Especially since we left Great Wolf Lodge to get a break from the commotion of rude kids, rude people, and overpriced food. From the first bite of my daughter's pancakes I could tell immediately that Judy only employs cooks who know how to cook from love. I can proudly say without a doubt in my mind I will definitely bring my family back to Judy's Country Kitchen again.

Holy cow!!!! What a dramatic difference compared to our dinner experience the previous night (at a different restaurant). Sometimes I feel 'high-end' restaurants need to re-focus their vision: an amazing food experience is only ONE aspect of a customer's overall restaurant experience. This place did it ALL great though. Despite being jam-packed full and busy, we were seated quickly and offered drinks (water and coffee) within minutes of sitting down. It was full, bustling, but warm and inviting. The coffee was kept topped off. We received our meal within 20-25 minutes of ordering it. And the food was AMAZING! The portions were ample and the prices were very reasonable. The bacon was THICK cut and cooked perfectly, the ham slice was the same, and the eggs were cooked to perfection. The whipped cream tasted like name-brand whipped cream vs generic. I'm so glad we came here. Thank you Judy!!!!
