Mi Lindo Culiacan — Restaurant in Ceres

Mariscos al 💯. Duuuudes. We’ve been here twice in the first week since we first found this place thanks to a suggestion from Google Maps. The best seafood, Culiacán Sinaloa style. Being from Jalisco their shrimp cocktail threw me for a loop w/ the flavor and lack of ketchup/cocktail sauce but holy shittttttttt it smacks.

Shrimp & Pulpo 🐙 (octopus) cocktail: 12/10 The shrimp is huuuuuge. They don’t skimp out on the pulpo o camarones, bigger than my fingers! Great flavor, and very attentive to detail (I said no onion, someone at my table no cilantro they followed).

The mojarras 🐟 (fried full fish) are amazing. In a week we’ve ordered more than 4. So good, full of flavor and nice and crispy yet so juicy. Super generous w/ limes too, they give you at least 4, and super juicy!

Their El Gobernador Tacos are so good, nice crispy freshly hand made tortillas stuffed w/ shrimp, pico & lettuce. Two will fill you up, one hits the spot if you’re ordering anything else.

Lastly, their rice (includes corn) and beans (peruano I think bc they were gueritos? But my mom says pinto w/ milk?) are fresh and full of flavor, I straight up order a side of beans w/ a coctel (super weird, I know.) Chips and salsa (spicy molcajete) are also served!

I discovered this place back in June. My dad was recovering from surgery and was craving a caldo de pollo. He always raved about how tasty the caldo was. I’ve ordered the chicken quesadillas from here and they’re absolutely delicious. The flavors just go so well together. The cashier Jorge is always a pleasure to see. They also sell an assortment of cookies near the register and they are the tastiest treats. I’ve purchased the pecan cookies, the wedding cookies, and plain shortbread. They’re also a hit with toddlers. It’s nice to support smaller chains because you get the quality a big chain...

Great food great taste never disappointed. been going since they recently started their business and still to this day the food taste the same !! The cocktail is boom their tostadas oh shrimp fish are good too. The camarones a la Diablo mmm very good served with corn or flower tortilla...
