So I’m over here at JumboWok and this lady is seriously trying me today. I always get the large drink and pour some out of the large drink THAT I ALREADY PAID FOR into a small water cup since my son wants his “own drink” and makes a huge scene about not wanting to share my large one. Refills are 50 cents and I always get one more before we leave. Always! By the way I want to stress that I always make a point to stand up and pay in full before refilling my cup even when they aren’t around. This time when I asked for the water cup she said if I pour it out that there are no refills. I’m like aren’t they 50cents? And she’s like “not if you’re going to be pouring it out to share it. No refills!” I came and sat down. I didn’t want to make a effin scene. So I guess we need to find a new place to eat. It’s not like I’m pouring it out, re-filling the cup and stealing soda. I legit shared with MY son from the large soda I’ve already paid for! My soda!!! And in the past, when I ask for the water cup I let her know I’m doing so because my son wants his “own soda” and doesn’t want to share my large one. She’s always been so cool but today she definitely was so stupid about it. What is it any of her business that I share the soda I PAID in full for with my son? She should only have a problem if I was sneakily filling up my soda back to the top and stealing drink. I’m so effin p o. And when I do get a refill it’s PAID IN FULL first!!! Stear clear from this place. Food is mediocre at best. I only ate here because it’s cheap and I’m low income. You get a lot for the $ but quality is what you expect for...

A step up from Hong Kong Express, a step down from Panda Express.
That's how I sum up Jumbo Wok.
Jumbo Wok is a Chinese fast food restaurant, taking over the spot where a Quizno's used to be. A 2-item combo is only $5.59. Cool beans, huh? I had the kung pao chicken, which was okay, & the BBQ pork which was great. The employee chopped it up right in front me after I selected it. The fried rice was also satisfactory, but the lo mein wasn't as good as Panda Express, hence the step down comment. Also, if you tell them it's your first visit, you'll get free cream cheese wontons. Those suckers are simple, yet so addicting. I'll wonder if they'll recognize me next time I stop by? J/K.
There's ample seating, although I do feel there's wasted space in front of the food warming trays and the dining tables. Perhaps an aquarium or some silk flowers placed inbetween to sprucen up the place? Unfortunately, even though Jumbo Wok recently opened, vagrants already vandalized the men's restroom. It's such a shame when a new business opens up, sparkling new, and some hooligans trash the place. Tragic.
Anyhoo, all in all, I will definitely come back & get my cheap eats on at Jumbo Wok. A 2-item combo is a steal at $5.59. The restaurant is within walking distance to where I live & the cream cheese wontons are beckoning me with their cheesy/crunchy goodness. When you want a break from Panda Express, stop on by to Jumbo Wok to fill up for...
Read moreI am not from around here so I took a chance cause it was the closest place to where I was. Ordered 3...2 item combos with pretty basic items. I was having lunch with my friend and her parents...I couldn't have been more embarrassed. Minutes from the house and it was LUKE warm, WAY smaller portions I'd ever encountered at similar types of places and the quality wasn't even comparable to a 99cent frozen dinner. My opinion is my home and I can't speak for others but I had to leave it for others to possibly save them the same misery as mine....
