Terrible Experience - Slowest Service and Incorrect Order

I recently visited Del Taco with high hopes for a satisfying meal, but unfortunately, my experience was nothing short of a nightmare. From the moment I entered the drive thru, it was clear that the slowest service of my life awaited me.

The waiting time was absolutely unbearable. I had enough time to write a novel, learn a new language, and build a small house from scratch while waiting for my order. It's astonishing how a simple taco could take an eternity to prepare.

To make matters worse, when my order finally arrived, it was completely wrong. It seems like they were playing a guessing game with my taste buds, as the contents of my burrito were unrecognizable since I ordered the #6 and received a #5 (quesadilla). It was an absolute disappointment.

The staff seemed completely oblivious to their mistakes and lacked any sense of urgency or customer service. They didn't apologize or offer any solution to rectify the situation. It felt like I was invisible to them.

I strongly advise against dining at this Del Taco if you value your time, taste buds, and overall dining experience. The slow service and inability to get the order right are inexcusable for any establishment. Save yourself the frustration and look elsewhere for a better experience.

I sincerely hope the management of Del Taco takes this feedback seriously and works towards improving their service and attention to detail. As for me, I'll be avoiding this place...

When I was a wee laddie in Junior High, with my wavy Desi Arnaz locks, slicked with styling gel, Clearasil on my many zits, this Del Taco used to be the after school hangout spot. I remember it like yesterday - My usual was either the deluxe chicken burrito, by itself or the meal. My soda would be a mixture of all the sodas at the fountain, consisting mainly of Mr. Pibb. The boys & I would do our best to acquire 'dem digits' from the schoolgirl that happened to tickle our fancy that day. Good times!

The cleanliness of this particular Del Taco is hit or miss, depending on what time you arrive. I haven't experienced any problems w/ my orders, but that may be because I make sure my order is correct before leaving. Del Taco gets the nod over Taco Bell for me because they serve crinkle cut fries & burgers.

Nowadays, I come back every so often. I live within walking distance & Taco Tuesday, Chicken Soft Taco Thursday & the everpresent coupons in the mailbox/inbox entice me to come back to my old haunt of yore. Yes, it's bad for me. Yes, I'll regret it afterwards. But, hey, I'm usually pretty good about what I eat. I can go unhealthy once in awhile, right?

If you're in the area, and it's past 3pm Tuesday or Thursday, I recommend stopping in & stuffing your face w/ Del Taco's cheap tacos & maybe a spicy quesadilla. Just do Zumba in the morning...
