My grandparents used to come to Johnnys frequently...I grew up appreciating the food and service so when my daughter got hired there I was ecstatic.....but only 1 shift at Johnny's, her first job and they CALLED her ...didn't even have the respect to do it to her face ...CALLED her and said after reviewing her application they decided to go with someone with restraunt experience. We started with the homemade garlic bread, which was absolutely delicious. For the main course, I opted for the classic meatloaf, while my companion tried the grilled salmon. I'm incredibly embarrassed to say I've lived near Chambersburg for over twenty years and this place has escaped my attention. It must be the grungy location.

Our server was an absolute sweetheart and was exactly what I wanted in an old school small restaurant.

My omelette was incredible and I'll be back for that breakfast! Yum. I'm still excited about it a week later! The home fries were crispy and amazing, EXACTLY how I like them.

The place could use a little upgrading.
