Taqueria La Esquinita — Restaurant in Chambersburg

We’ve been in the mood lately to try the many flavors of Chambersburg and support our local businesses and the artists of many kinds. Today, I stopped to pick up something for the house on my way through; tacos for the after school shuffle! This place was great; conveniently located downtown on Washington street in Chambersburg. I walked right in and waited maybe 5 minutes total for freshly made chicken tacos to go. The people who waited on me were very nice, I got my order right in and it was brought right out to me. Tacos with cilantro, radish and lime, such a great infusion of flavor. Let me start by saying I’d give you all zero stars if I could. I just ordered $100 worth of food for my family in town, ten items, I received 3. Upon calling this restaurant they decided to run me around blaming the 70 year old door dash driver of stealing 7 of the items. Then instead of making the situation right, you decided to pass the blame over to door dash. Pathetic.

Now onto the food we did receive. First let me say, I'm astonished by the number of positive reviews for this establishment. Your rolled chicken tacos are like eating saw dust. You gave us not even half of a styrofoam container of guac, the birria consume is tasteless, and your chips are stale. You should be embarrassed...

I've heard great things about this place, so I had to check it out myself. It's in downtown Chambersburg, but there's plenty of parking one block west in a large parking lot.

The restaurant was packed, but there was still seating available. Complimentary chips & salsa arrived at my table immediately.

My waiter was spot on with his recommendations, but my eyes were larger than my stomach. I ordered the shredded beef tacos and one spicy pork taco. Sorry, i dont know Spanish & and can't recall the actual names on the menu . The food, drinks, and atmosphere were very authentic. I recommend and will definitely return, I just won't order as much...
