Lacey's Place — Restaurant in Champaign

The inside is clean and sometimes and the staff is USUALLY nice.. but they’re very cruel to their workers and the owners of these places are the lowest of the low when it comes to being greedy and close minded. I know a girl, a very nice and sweet women who was fired from Lacey’s place because she was taking care of her dad during a medical emergency. Her war veteran father had collapsed to the ground from lack of oxygen. He suffered from PTSD, emphysema, and Liver disease and was nearing his end. She explained to them time and time again that she might have to change your father in a medical emergency but she never had to do once or twice. The day he fell she had to sit with him until the ambulance arrived and was less then 45min late to work. They told her it was fine. It was understandable and not to worry. 2 days later her dad died and they fired her for “incompetence” They’re true scum bags and I wouldn’t put 10$ in one of their machines if it gave them buisness....
