Subway — Restaurant in Champlin

This will probably be the most accurate review to be seen for this subway.

This subway is a hit or miss every time. Probably about 60%-70% of the time it won’t be as expected or to the standards of subways expectations. I’m a former subway employee of the one off of Aquila drive. Worked there for a year. In that year accomplished 5 raises. Not that any of that matters but I am informing you to show you I understand the standards of subway and I also understand they can change as well.

When visiting this subway how ever on multiple occasions it is either unpleasant due to poor service, food quality, cleanliness of the store, quality of the sandwiches made or the products put on the sandwiches or all of the above in the same visit. Now I understand this is not a Ruth Chris steak house but how ever. This location is constantly rotating through new employees on a weekly or monthly basis and that is clearly a reflection of management & ownership. On multiple occasions I have visited this location with only one employee on duty and the employee will even admit too or is clearly new to working at this location. So you have a brand new employee on the job by themselves to save costs. Nice job. On other occasions I also have had multiple run ins with messed up orders, squished sandwiches, old products I.e. bread, bottled beverages which are almost always out of date & or dirty soda dispenser Nozzles which I wouldn’t be surprised if they are never sanitized and cleaned if the bottles of beverages can’t even be rotated to be within the sell by date(which can cause fruit fly’s and can lead too fruit flys laying eggs and cause someone to get sick).

Also recently visited at 7pm and they had closed when they say they close at 8pm. Hopefully it was due too good reasoning. However when I called 4 times and noticed 1-2 employees where inside with a jacket on the phone had become disconnected after I had been calling. Now on some rare occasions I have had wonderful service from some individuals and I wish I had remembered the employees names so I could give them a mention. I have had some great sandwiches some great service but I still never get soda from here or chips due to being expired. But again That’s not common. I go here as it’s the closest subway to my house, but if I have time I never have a problem making the Drive across town for...

Be very careful if you plan on working here. I was asked multiple times to work off the clock (illegal) and told that they weren't required to give me my paycheck after I quit (again, illegal). Manager here is an incredibly disrespectful person. Owner is cheap and passive aggressive. The only part I ever enjoyed about working here was the customers, but you can get that experience working in any other customer service type job. There are so many jobs that will pay you better and follow the laws. This one is not worth the stress. If you do get a job here, I recommend going on the department of labor's website and educating yourself so you know...

We ordered our food online, $50 dollars worth of food. Then there was an error, they never got it and they kept out $50 dollars. There is no way to find a number to actually call and talk to someone at their franchise corporate about our money and the store told my wife they cannot help. I called the number listed on google and it said it was not in service, which is odd because my wife just called them. Then I called 5 minutes later and their fax machine is picking up the calls. I cannot get ahold of them, and I cannot get my money back. I will never use this...
