The customer service was nice. I was late to grab it but they were very patient. The drinks however were not what I expected; the red bean smoothie tasted very bland even with extra red bean and the regular milk tea tasted very similar to a canned drink that I could have bought at the Asian market. Both of the after taste was bad that I didn’t end up drinking it. Maybe, there’s something a lot better?
Update to reply: Don’t get me wrong I understand that I was late and it was my responsibility to be attentive. There are many locations that make handcrafted drinks (even if they are different recipes) and yet, despite being late the drinks from other places have tasted the same. Ive drank yogurt smoothies that are completely melted and there was still flavor. Yogurt is suppose to be sour but that was not what I was saying; it’s more like why is it bland? Also, why was the red bean topping bland too? The milk tea I had received was exactly the same as another boba place; I just did not like it even if it is the top seller. Unfortunately, we do not all have the same taste buds and we have different likings. I respect your small business and how the...
Read moreWent there yesterday, to see what it was about. I ordered two drinks, and some food. The two drinks I got were the strawberry yogurt drink with mango popping boba, and the strawberry milk tea with mango popping boba (for my mom). The drinks were good, I liked the strawberry yogurt drink best.
As for food, I ordered a small sesame chicken, which comes with steamed rice, but I substituted steamed rice with fried rice; and the sample platter, which came with one egg roll, chicken wings (mix of drums and flats), two shrimp tempura, and two cream cheese wontons.
The sesame chicken tasted fine, no complaints there (it was not topped with sesame seeds, as it should be, but that's not a big problem). As for the rest, it tasted like pure MSG. The fried rice didn't have vegetables, only cubes of chicken, which I was expecting it to come with vegetables as well. The chicken wings were salty, and had no other flavor than MSG. The egg roll was not great, it lacked in flavor. The shrimp tempura and cream cheese wontons were okay.
All in all, the drinks are good, but the food needs a little improvement. Maybe go light on the MSG, it was...
Read moreDefinitely my most favorite Boba tea shop in the area. There’s A LOT of different drink options to choose from. I’ve been coming here at least once a week for a few months now and I’m not even halfway through the drink menu. I’ve enjoyed every drink I’ve tried so far. The Strawberry milk tea is my personal favorite.
Staff are very friendly and put lots of care and effort into the drinks. An order will occasionally take around 5-10 minutes if it’s busy but the atmosphere is really comfy and it’s absolutely worth the wait. The longest I’ve ever had to wait was only about 15 mins but that was when the place was packed and I had ordered multiple drinks.
The prices are quite reasonable as well. One drink typically costs around $5-$8 depending on size and any stuff you add to it (tapioca, cheese foam, etc.). It’s similar in price to many of the chain coffee stores in the area but the drinks are much higher quality and hand-made.
Would definitely recommend visiting this shop if you...
