I grew up in Anoka, it has changed a lot. Riverside Park with the pavilion is better than ever. The walking paths are great. So nice Anoka was able to retain this for the city. The grass is so green and the whole place is so we'll maintained. Some street parking, there is a free parking garage a short distance away. Lots of dogs and people walking even on this very cloudy afternoon. The Rum River is right there, you can get right down to it. They have a wood observation deck that goes right over the river, handicap accessible too. Stop on Main Street and get something to eat while you are there. 2 Scoops ice cream is just a short walk away. This is a great part of the charm of small town living....
