This place is a hidden gem! Tucked away in a plaza with a lot of other Asian cuisine and shopping, this bakery definitely needs more locations in the valley! The entire process of walking In, grabbing a tray, and loading it up with whatever you want is such a genius design and really streamlines the experience.
They had a lot of options of breads, cookies, pastries, you name it. We went on a Monday morning (St. Patrick’s Day to be exact) and our only gripe was that there were a lot of empty shelves, but we were still able to walk away with a haul. It was probably because it was a Monday morning where a lot of their cakes weren’t stocked at all, which is a bummer because we were looking forward to getting some single cake slices. Alas, we still grabbed whatever looked good to us, which was: the berrytale puff, chocolate chip bowl, milk pudding puff, red bean bread, white chocolate strawberry puff, and the jalapeño cream cheese bread. Everything was IMMACULATE. We were blown away by how soft the bread was; it was like biting into a pillow. We tried the strawberry puff first and loved the strawberry cream inside—so fluffy just like the bread surrounding it! Since I like red bean, I loved the red bean bread (my mom wasn’t a fan of the flavor). The milk pudding was delicious too. The vanilla custard was decadent and I liked how that one was more compact so the filling was able to actually fill the entire puff.
Another aspect that made this amazing was the checkout. We had grabbed a good amount of items, and we noted the prices labeled on each one. What we didn’t expect was much cheaper prices on the receipt versus what we noted on the display cases. We paid only $13 for everything we got! That’s a steal, especially for how good everything was. We didn’t know if it was a weekday discount thing or a mistake made by the system, but we weren’t complaining lol.
TLDR: everything was delicious and we will be back on a weekend when hopefully their individual cake slices...
Read moreThe pastries and drinks are great. Very tasty and well priced. I’ve been to the one in Taiwan. I came here on their opening night and then again a few days ago. My last experience wasn’t so good.
They close at 6pm, however I arrived at 5:20pm and they were almost out of all the good pastries, out of trays, and when I got to the counter and tried to order a drink I was told they don’t serve drinks after 5pm It’s hard to operate a shop where different services end at different times because, how are customers supposed to know what services end at which times before making the drive out here? If I knew they didn’t serve drinks after 5pm and that they’d be almost out of stock on everything else, I wouldn’t have bothered to make the 20 min. drive. They should just close at 5pm and have all their services operational until then. That way the employees can have the extra hour to clean up and get ready to go home by 6pm. But at least that way I know to go there during operational hours with the expectation that all their services will be available.
Additionally, the cashier wasn’t very friendly. When I asked for a drink he said “no”, and stared at me blankly without explaining why. So I thought he was kidding and I asked “wait really?”. Only then did he explain they don’t serve drinks after 5pm and pointed at the menu TV screens which were turned off and said “that’s why all our menu screens are off”… as if I should have known what that meant.
I’d suggest training staff to be more detailed and friendly when turning...

So as this has become one of my new sneak in and sneak out cities, I'm learning all of the places that I need to entertain. And as we all know when life brings you lemons you make lemonade. Imagine the lemons on 5 hour drive with a 10 hour turnover.
Upon entering the aroma takes over. When I saw all the shelves were filled. My first thought " Your not in Kansas anymore Dorothy" . So yes I grabbed my tray and began to make my stroll. Grabbing this and that. More of this and def more of that. Besides it makes for great drive back. It at least in my world it does.
Interior is the familiar bakery style, trays at the beginning of the pathway to walk and maneuver your way around to grab all the goodies your heart desires. Milk bread to that fabulous cheese garlic Pastry to the more decadent desserts in the chill display. Once you've grabbed everything you make your way to the front in the orderly line and pay. Cafeteria style but with an amazing benefit of goodies.
Now what I love about this chain is the chime that let's you know. FRESH BREAD. When you hear that sound know that more goodies are being restocked to the brim. Or even if you just want it warm out the oven.
Would most def recommend this location. Pricing reasonable. Quality always on point. And the customer service was fabulous. I love great customer service. Makes the experience that much more worthwhile.
Location is Chandler AZ- Chandler Blvd/Dobson-...
