This is one of my family's favorite parks. The pros: shade, shade, shade. Well, and good playground, large areas for walking, large ramadas. But the shade is most important...thanks to large established trees. This park also has a huge amount of sport fields, tennis courts and one of the municipal pools. Oh, and bathrooms. The cons: The area west of the pool is totally underused. City of Chandler, can I sit down with you and brainstorm ideas of what could be done with that side? It's a huge grassy area, with tress and ramadas all around. Except too far away from the playground. Read moreI took my kids yesterday and the life guards were being extremely rude. This attraction is supposed to be family friendly my kids had so much fun with the water slides also with the little water play ground. However I couldn't help but feel uncomfortable that the life guards were being very careless and offensively impolite. As a kid I remember coming here along time ago so this place has been here for years! The guards each had different perspective when it came up to several kids being able to slide down the slide or not they don't have a set policy (or they just weren't following it) they just were picking and choosing who can, and can not go...
Read moreHad fun with my lil one at the pool for his school party. It was ok. Thebotttim of The pool needs fixed badly because everyone got cut up on their feet. The lifeguards were too aggressive and overbearing with little kids. One was named Noah. He was so rude. He lacks the skills to properly interact with others. He should find a different job. Running around to get from one situation to another he fell. He ran a teacher over. He screams at these little kids not to run then he runs. All because a kid had cuts on his foot from the messed up pool. Definetly...
