This place is absolutely amazing! We happened to be just out front and noticed a delicious looking dessert on their window (unfortunately we had just eaten but there’s only room for dessert). The owner Mike stepped out to greet us and let us know they had recently opened and offered to let us try their fresh churros. Well of course we couldn’t say no! Oh my let me tell you they are delicious! Of course we couldn’t stop there! We had their mini dessert pancakes also! So delicious! The menu is amazing and we cannot wait to come back for brunch and lunch with their amazing options and fresh ingredients! We got to hear all the backstory to how they got there and what an amazing build up from food truck and catering to this beautiful well deserved restaurant. This place is definitely a must try and going to be a weekly (at minimum) staple for us! They have big plans for so much more! So make sure that you get here and have an amazing...
Read moreI met Achiote’s owner, Mike, at the grocery store early one morning. He was buying fresh produce, which he does daily. He told me how he uses leeks in one of his dishes at his Venezuela and Mexican fusion restaurant. Let’s see, now. Super friendly owner, is passionate about his restaurant, and he uses fresh produce bought daily. The hook was set! I went home and told my husband we need to check out Achiote the next time we eat out, which was just a couple of days later. We went to there for lunch, and loved the place!
Mike was covering the counter where we ordered, and he explained all the dishes on the menu and made recommendations. We tried a bowl and the 3 taco combination with 3 different flavors of tacos. The food was served up quickly and was super delicious! Mike even treated us to some fresh churros! Needless to say, we’ll be recommending Achiote to all our adventurous friends! Thanks for the great culinary...
Read moremy boyfriend took me to this place and i actually really liked it !! i got chicken empanadas, nachos, tacos and churros. the chicken empanadas were amazing, i really enjoyed them with the green sauce. i was devouring the nachos lol, i liked how the chips were like “doubled chip” so the nachos didn’t get soggy at all! i really liked the tacos as well, one of them i think had pineapple in it and it was different but in a good way :) i liked the churros as well, very good. i think the only criticism i have is how much onion and cilantro they put on the tacos. i’m a onion girl and i loooove onions on my taco, i didn’t ask for more but im sure they would’ve. super nice staff as well, thank you for making my date...
