We have stayed away from this location for several years due to issues in the past and started going back recently. On this trip it was back to what caused us to leave before. We ordered our wings at 5:45 and was quoted a 25-30 minute time. We arrived at the 25 min mark and the wings "were still cooking". My husband paid and waited at the counter until 6:50 before saying that he wanted his money back, and then miraculously the wings appeared in the window. In the meantime many people came and went with their orders, many including wings. So, when he asked about the issue, the person behind the counter became defensive and said that they had gotten busy (not our problem), and they were not prepared for that. Ok, it is a Friday night, it is March Madness, and you are not prepared to be busy? Then dont' quote a time you cannot meet. And don't get snippy when a person expecting a 30 minute turnaround quoted time is asking questions when 65 minutes has elapsed. No manager was presented to make anything square, or any apology, just a snarky answer from the counter. Also - for wings that were "still cooking" for 40 additional minutes they were lukewarm when we got them home, and we live about 3 minutes away. They also did not provide the extra sauce that was requested even though it was notated on the receipt. Read moreI will begin with, this is one of my worst experiences with barro’s pizza, I know today is a very busy day for pizza and wings, and that’s the specific reason I ordered online knowing that the estimated times would be longer than usual, I ordered online at 4:20pm, I arrived at the barro’s on Riggs rd in chandler at 5:40pm. According to my confirmation it was a 45 minutes wait for food to be completed. So, I showed up an additional 35 minutes passed the estimated time. When I arrived and was told my pizza was done. But, my wings have not been started, and it would be an additional wait..Not only have I been patient and understanding I was shocked that other people that ordered in the restaurant, were only estimated a 15-20 minute wait.. what a slap to my face after I had been technically waiting for over an hour, and my wings weren’t even started.. very upsetting! The Super Bowl had already started so I settled to just take the pizza only, then proceeded to pay full price for the pizza, because I couldn’t wait for the wings that were apart of a “deal”… unbelievably disappointed and the manager had no sympathy not even an apology nor did they have any answers to why everyone else’s ordered were being filled but mine.. Read moreI ordered food at 5:18. I received an email saying it would be delivered in 65 minutes. I called the restaurant at 6:45 and said I had a question about my order. I was immediately asked if I wanted a manager as there was nothing she could do. I found this strange since I hadn’t even asked anything yet. Once the manager got on the phone and I gave my name 3 times then spelled as he wasn’t listening and repeating different names to me, I was placed on hold again so he could get on a phone near a computer. He said the emails always have that time and they don’t know how to fix it. They had been busy and still are so my order would take longer.i asked why they don’t contact people if they know it will take longer. Again the answer I don’t have time we are busy. Seemed annoyed I had ordered via their app and that was the issue. Also made me feel online orders don’t matter to him. He stated my driver had just left and I would have it in 10-15 minutes. 20-30 minutes later it arrived. The lid wasn’t on the kids spaghetti and just smashed on top. It also had no sauce. All the food was warm and not hot as it should be if it was just made. Very frustrated and saddened that the management doesn’t seem to care.
