This place is right next to the dollar tree and honestly I had low expectations for this place but boy was I wrong! It’s a small place but they have quick service and friendly staff. Only one waiter handling all the tables but wasn’t slow either. It was a little cold in there as the fans and AC was running so I wore my jacket the whole time. I noticed an elderly lady with her family was eating and kept staring at the fans because she was also getting cold. I think the fans are needed because of their tandoori dishes, they smoke up the whole place and everyone starts coughing from the spicy smoke so leave the fans on but when it’s cold outside at least turn the AC off lol
The waiter didn’t write down our order so I was thinking he will mess it up but nope he got it on the dot. We ordered manchow soup, butter chicken, plain naan, Gobi Manchurian, chicken fried rice, lamb vindaloo, mango lassi and double ka meetha. We were originally going for goat vindaloo but the waiter mentioned goat will have bones but lamb is boneless so we changed to lamb vindaloo instead, which was quite tasty and delicious! I definitely didn’t want to deal with bones in the meat so thanks for the suggestion! Kids loved the butter chicken, we did mild and it was perfect for them. Chicken fried rice was indo chinese style and my daughter enjoyed it and was quite happy with the taste. Manchow soup wasn’t my favorite, tasted bitter so I will not be ordering it next time. Mango lassi was not bad. Gobi manchurian was amazing, will get this one again! Double ka meetha dessert was soggy, if you are a true Hyderabadi then you will definitely not like this one, they should ease up on the milk so it’s not so watery, bread seemed like it wanted to be saved from the sogginess lol we will be back again and will try some of their other items. They get a lot of pick up orders as well so they seem like they are doing really well. Their prices are very reasonable and not over priced as some of the other places in Chandler. We will try their lunch package soon! Overall...
Read moreUsually I'm not a big fan of Indian food. I don't hate it, but I don't love it by any means either. That recently changed when my wife and I tried a competitor to this place. So we tried this place to see if we like it as well. We really did.
We ordered to-go, so we didn't get an idea of the service, the servers, or the restroom cleanliness. The gentleman behind the register was polite, cheery, and helpful. I would mention that as soon as we opened the front door we were hit smack in the face with a smell that just made our mouths water like Pavlovian test subjects. It smelled quite good and immediately made my stomach wake up and stand at attention.
It's a very small place with only enough tables for 1 waiter/waitress to cover so keep that in mind. We watched over 10 people picking up their to-go orders while we were waiting for ours, so that's a good sign.
The prices weren't bad. It came to about $30 for the both of us. It's about the same as another nearby Indian Biryani place, which would be rude of me to mention here.
My wife and I both usually love VERY spicy food, however tonight we weren't feeling up to hot food. So we both ordered the "Chicken 65 Biryani" at a medium heat level. It was quite good and worth going back for. It was definitely crave worthy. Now what they consider medium at this place would definitely be too hot for most people. So you might want to seriously consider the "mild" level of heat to start out with. Oh and the rice was quite good as well.
What impressed my wife and I the most was that they had options for Chicken, Lamb, and Goat meat. We definitely want to go back and try all three. In a nutshell, we would recommend this restaurant and will be returning again...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at Biryani Pot, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a vibrant atmosphere that instantly made me feel at home.
The highlight, of course, was the food. The biryani here is absolutely out of this world! I ordered the Chicken Dum Biryani, and every bite was a burst of rich, flavorful goodness. The rice was perfectly cooked, the spices were beautifully balanced, and the chicken was tender and succulent. It's clear that the chefs put a lot of love and expertise into their cooking.
The menu offers a fantastic variety of options, catering to both meat lovers and vegetarians. I also tried the Paneer Tikka and it was delightful—crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, with just the right amount of spice. The portion sizes were generous, making it great value for money.
The service was impeccable. Our server was attentive, knowledgeable, and eager to ensure we had the best dining experience possible. The food arrived promptly, and we never felt rushed, allowing us to savor each dish at our own pace.
The ambiance of Biryani Pot is another standout feature. The decor is modern yet cozy, with tasteful Indian accents that add to the authenticity of the dining experience. It's a perfect place for a casual meal with family, a fun dinner with friends, or even a cozy date night.
Overall, Biryani Pot exceeded all my expectations. If you're a fan of biryani or just love good Indian cuisine, this place is a must-visit. I can't wait to return and try more dishes from their impressive menu. Highly...
