We came here to celebrate my son's birthday. We had teppanyaki, the chef was really entertaining, he is funniest among all others and the 2 stars are for him.
Let's talk about the food. My children had udon noodles and grilled chicken. I had the ahi tuna, it makes my lips itchy and its very chewy. I was born and raised in a tropical island eating fish 5x a week. I get it, we live on the desert, the fish is not fresh so I shouldn't compare. Husband said his shrimp and chicken taste good.
An hour after we left, my husband and I had full blown diarrhea!!! He has very senstive tummy so we were always careful when eating out. I, on the other hand can eat anything. I grew up eating street food and Im very adventurous when it comes to food. I always believe I have a strong stomach. Not this time... It's one of those, you first feel a knot in your tummy and it hurts so bad, then you run as fast as you can because you think you can't make it and poop water and it stinks sooo bad you started gagging! Sorry to be gross but its how bad it was. I went to the bathrm 5x in 2hrs, my butt stings. Funny not funny. My husband had to go 6x that night and still have diarrhea the following morning.
We dont know what it was. Our children were fine and the only food my husband and I shared were the chicken, shrimp...
Read moreThis is a fun place to eat. It isn't up-scale in the sense that you will feel out-of-place for not dressing up, but as with most places these days, your wallet will feel it ;) They have AYCE sushi for $25 on certain days, although I know Monday-Wednesday are for sure as I have had it on those days. You must sit at the bar for this deal. They only have one sushi chef during all you can eat so it come out as fast as one person is able to accolade your party. The nice thing about this place is that they actually have Japanese workers.... at least some. This is RARE, and so it adds to the experience. The place has not been renovated and is smokey during dinner hours, as the tepanyaki chef's are going to town. I would say that the sushi here is run-of-the-mill good as nothing stands out as superb, and nothing is sub-par. I believe that you will enjoy the all you can eat experience. I hold the same feelings on the rest of their menu, to include...
Read moreEXPENSIVE for BAD FOOD My Aunt and I decided to try this place instead of the nearby Pei Wei. The service staff seemed nice enough and the ambiance was all right. But when we got our food is the point were it went downhill. The salad was frozen like it just came out of the freezer. The rolls did not taste right. the rice texture felt mushy and tasted weird. and I have Sushi outings all the time so I know what I am getting..but this..this is just not good. The main plates with Udon noodles are all bland dishes drenched in soy sauce. Nothing seems fresh in this place. I can forgive shabby service because some people have bad days but i cannot forgive serving people bad food. Only thing that was decent was the Sapporo and the edamame. After two drinks, three rolls, and edamame and two (terrible) udon noodle plates the bill came out to $89. Should have just...
