
I came to this location after attending an event where they were doing a pop-up. I won a free ginger shot and the girl at the booth was very sweet. She gave me the shot and put a sticker on top, informing me that if I downloaded the app from the QR code and went to their location, I would be given a free juice or smoothie. I followed the instructions, but when I arrived at the location, I was met with two young girls who said that the code wasn't popping up on the app. They were very nice in trying to figure it out, but they started arguing over who should get the manager because they were scared of her. After 10 minutes, the manager finally came over, tried to walk me through it, and then walked away. After doing what she told me, it still wasn't popping up, and the two girls once again argued over who should get the manager. Finally, one of them did, and the manager came back and then proceeded to be slick about charging me for a smoothie and said your code should show up within the next 24 hours and tried to hide the receipt. When I asked for it, she charged me for a regular smoothie. I asked her why I was charged, and that's when she finally explained that I would only get a free juice or smoothie if I made a purchase first (which was not explained by the girl at the event, on the sticker, or by the two girls working the front). I then proceeded to show the manager the photo of the sticker, and all she had to say was, "Sorry, that's just how it works; it's only supposed to get you to the app." Not only is this false advertising, but this is completely misleading and was poor management/service. After wasting 20 min, I just asked for a refund. While this is only $10, and I would have been happy to pay, I figured that this horrible service and misleading information was not worth paying for; I would rather give my business to another Nekter.
I want to emphasize that this whole situation goes back to poor management. The girl at the event, misinformed about redeeming a free smoothie, goes back to poor management for not properly training her. The two girls then being scared to get their manager to resolve this situation goes back to poor management. And then the manager's only solution, saying, "Sorry, that's just how it works," is POOR MANAGEMENT! I feel so badly for these young girls who have to be the face of these issues.
I was deeply disappointed by this experience. I wish I could say I am exaggerating, but I'm not. This whole situation happened, and I was shocked. I don't even want to hear back from any of the management team because I spoke directly with the manager, and she had the chance to make it right at that moment and didn't. The two young girls were the only staff apologetic for this inconvenience; I never once received an apology from the manager except for the "sorry, that's just how it works." Read moreAfter refusing to go to the Gilbert and Ocotillo location for six months because they were so incompetent (melted bowls, late, not done, done wrong etc.) and rude - I finally decided to try a different location today. My daughter who is for really wanted a bowl for her birthday lunch and I decided that I had avoided them long enough… Boy I was wrong. We skipped eating food when we had the opportunity, ordered our bowls via the app... Of course when we get there, they are not made. I can confirm the correct location and it showed the associate my order on the app. I was in a hurry which is why I ordered from the app to begin with and didn’t have time to wait for them to make another one so she then had to manually enter in the bowl and refund it to my card. Barely apologized, offered no explanation, offered no insight as to what may have happened or if it happened before. No $5 coupon for the inconvenience. Didn’t offer to have her associate make the bowls while she looked further into finding the order after I made it clear I was in a hurry.

Read moreFrustrating! Every time at the Queen Creek, Chandler location I try to come here, there's an issue. Coming to pick up Juice Clense for tomorrow. Knew they closed at 7 and I left home at 6:30. Called and there was no answer...not even a voice mail etc. Wanted to call ahead to let them know I was on the way as well as place additional order. Got there at 6:42 pm. During their business hours. This time, they were closed due to iteam meeting. Really wish someone would have answered the phone and let me know so I didn't waste my time nor my gas. This isn't a 3 strikes abd out scenario...its more like 13. Time to look for...
