I'm going to start by saying that normally they would be a 5 star based on our previous experiences with sushi and our awesome server that we usually have. However, I went online to search for their specials today and saw a DATE night teppan dinner for 2 special. I thought lets absolutely try something new. Unfortunately, we had Daniel as our sever at the teppan table. It took quite long for us to order 1 hot sake, because he didn't even greet us for 7 minutes after being seated and then when I asked him what sushi rolls were included in Date night, which I had pulled up on my phone on THIER website, he rudely tells me "thats the old website, we don't do that anymore." No apology. Ok. So my husband and I ask for a moment with the menu. We decide on our teppan meal and tell him we will be ready to place our sushi order in one more minute. He didn't come back for our sushi order, but thank God our normal sushi sever was there. My husband snuck over and said I know you're not our server but you're awesome Is there anyway we could get 1 of our regular rolls? She not only had it out to us in 2 minutes flat, but ALSO checked up on our drink for us the whole night. I also looked up on social media and THIER "new website" isn't even operational. When Daniel finally came back around to get us more drinks, we ordered another warm sake. He informed us the sake warmer was broken but he could get us a cold one. He could obviously at the point tell I was pretty pissed with his lack of service. He not once asked the manager to maybe make sure things were good or even apologize for anything. I'm not trying to be mean but he had 1 teppan table and couldn't handle that. So since they didn't do date night, I got a groupon to use depending on wether or not our server discounted anything or even apologized at that point. I snapped a picture of the groupon and handed him my phone with the picture to redeem. He got attitudy, and tried to start redeeming it on my phone. I said no, that's a picture with the codes you need, which made him even huffier and stomp around the restaurant for a good 5 minutes with my phone before we got an updated bill. Then he didn't even say anything when he put the new bill down after my husband said thank you, he stomped away. I put down my credit card to pay the balance and as he was closing out the bill, my husband went over and gave a nice tip to our normal sushi server ( she's a cute little brunette with acouple of tattoos and super friendly and attentive.) Truely an asset server to this place. It just makes me so mad cause this really is our favorite place to go for sushi. Needless to say, she faired far better than my actual server this evening tip wise. So no apology, no warm sake and Daniel was a huge disappointment. I will definitely be back for THIER amazing sushi, but as far as I'm concerned no more teppan...

We decided to go on a sunday in the evening; we were the third table there, can someone please explain to me why it took over 30 mins to get our order taken? The place was not at all packed ... Alright let's go ahead and let that slide; fast forward to when we finally get service and the waitress walked away when we weren't done ordering??? I was very confused at this point; am i getting punk? when do the cameras come out and Justin Bieber pops out saying it was all a prank? After 7 mins that our waitress walked away we finally got ahold of another waiter who finished taking our order. Waited about 15 minutes or so before they bring out the first roll with person's 1 entree .... and 20 mins later person's 2 entree comes out all hot and ready while my food has gotten cold from all the waiting. Let's go ahead and talk about checking out, our waitress comes over with the check ( once again we had to tackle someone down to get service) We ended up using our groupon which left us with a balance of 5 bucks with some change, we waited 15 mins for someone to come over and take out check, after another 10 minutes of waiting to get our change a waitress comes over and gives us our change but wow they were off by like three bucks! Do they not know how to work the cash register?? i've heard that the cash register tells you how much you are suppose to give back?? ( Clearly a joke, i've worked in fast food before) oh i was fuming , i don't think i'm a difficult customer but at this point i was hungry and angry, i was hangry. The food was overpriced for the portions and was honestly not all the great, the rolls seem to be made with old rice (as it was very hard) and noodles was something we could have order at panda express (with better customer service). I was not all impressed with this location or the experience.

Overall: Would i recommend?? Heck no! we all work hard for our money and i felt like i paid to be mis-treated, i do not wish for no one to go...

Firstly, the place was busy. But that was mo reason for terrible servive and terrible attitudes. It was 12/13/2024. my wife and I arrive 6:30ish. No hostess on duty. One i guess managerial person. 3-4 busboy/food runners. We order and wait. The waitress seems frazzled. The tables beside us fill up about 25-20 minutes later. We still are not even served appetizers. anther amount of time goes by and foodvarrives at newly arrived tables. Our server apologozes and states our order somehow was served to another table. I stared at her and asked about the appetizer then why cant you just bring us another Edamame? Silly look in return. Then the Im guessing (manager bring that over) and is sorry. then it takes another half hour for 1 roll( because they forgot 1) and 3 orders of nigiri. really? So as a very yound is trying to deliver our last roll he is yelling out some inaudible words as he tries to deliver it to 4 tables besides ours. I immediately ask for my bill. pay it 67.00 no tip and leave. I get it busy friday night. But i ask as a GManager or Owner, How do you let it get this far? Oh by the way. I was a 5 year regular live 3.2 miles away and dined here at least weekly. To support local Restaurants during covid, i instructed my employees to dine at locally owned place in a show of support. Another fact is that I am the Manager of the nearest Lincoln dealer and referred 100s and 100s of our clients to this place, i will be the first to admit to them i was wrong. these people have zero gratitude, caring, sense of work ethics ect.... And that starts with ownership and goes downnhill. Heres a hint Go to the Chop restraurant its a hop skip and jump right across the parking lot. That place is truely impressive. just notice the attitude of the staff differences. You will...

Went with a group of co-workers yesterday. I am giving 2 stars because the service was good (not great because of not being able to fully explain what's later in this review). I ordered the Korean BBQ lunch, where's the beef?, was the question. When I order Korean BBQ I expect more than 4 bites of beef. The food was okay (see how the trend is going down). The bill came and well, the P206 surcharge that was 24% of bill, wth. My lunch was $12, the P206 surcharge was $2.91. In front of work group had to question this and the waitress explained it is company policy and not the gratuity. That the company started this surcharge to offset the costs from proposition 206. I felt bad for her having to explain this to our group of 14 people and not really knowing or totally understanding the purpose or how they came to the amount. It was after I found out that everyone's surcharge was different and the meals all within $1 dollar or so of one another. A Co-worker also ordered a $12 lunch and his was $.24, (2% of bill, wth, doesn't make sense!). He was wondering what the fuss was over because it was basically a quarter, lol. When he found out that most of us were charged a few dollars each, he agreed that it was ridiculous. When I order, I want to know up front what I am paying, I want to make the choice...you don't charge me after the fact with no warning and then tax the surcharge on top of it! Won't be back, bad business model!
