Strawberry cream soda Isn't sweet, just carbonated with a hint of strawberry and a scoop of ice cream on it, it was the best once the ice cream is fully mixed in but absolutely overpriced for a disappointment
Our food came all out at staggered times
The Dr pepper we got came in a kids size plastic cup for an adult, we're assuming the sever mixed up because the other tables had regular sized cups and the kids sprite we got, came in a Styrofoam cup
We had to ask for our plates and silverware, which was odd 😅 sinc4 we had already been sitting with the soup and salad ang then our rice arrived a few minutes late maybe our server had a slight language barrier, because our server seemed confused when we asked
The Oolong tea is good, I liked the aftertaste
They include a salad and soup with the lunch The broth was interesting, I couldn't quite place the flavor
The veggie fried rice was the best of what we ordered soooo sooo flavorful and fully of a variety of Vegetables
The pork yakisoba had only had 2 piece of pork in it and the sauce was very overwhelming tangy similar to BBQ sauce, not good
The spicy tonkatsu ramen overall was ok because of the brooth and the egg was cooked well but the noodles were a huge letdown and tasted the same as the bag noodles. While the bowl serving was large it was almost all noodles, which was also very disappointing 😕
We only ended up taking the rice to go, it was the only good part
The atmosphere was very nice and overall the staff was friendly but we were continually left unattended, never got a refill, no napkins, just lackluster care We were barely acknowledged after we placed our order and our food came
The floor was sticky (carpet and tile in the bathroom) they were installing more wood floors, nor sure if it was related to why the rest of the floor was sticky, it stuck our shoes to the floor 😅
Overall our experience was disappointing😖 we were expecting so much more from the reviews, we...
Read moreI went here last night with my sister and our friend. We were pretty much immediately sat which was nice. The restaurant is a bit small but not too squished as I didn’t feel like I was too close to the people behind me. I would say service lacks just a little tiny bit but I do believe they are training new people which explains the slow service. Once we had pointed out that we had not gotten a server yet, one of the workers quickly went to another worker who I assume knew the menu more. Everyone who works there is very nice and will make sure to correct a mistake once it’s brought to their attention.
As for the food, the food is amazing. My friend is a pescatarian (which means the only meat she will eat is seafood) and she was able to find items on the menu that fitted her dietary preferences. I had gotten the miso ramen and jalapeño poppers, they were both pretty good but after trying my sister’s shio ramen, I’d get that rather than the miso one. Each ramen bowl comes with two gyozas which are amazing and very crispy. Our friend had gotten the seafood curry which is deep fried salmon I believe and she loved it. She had also gotten the tako yaki which she said was really good. My sister and I were able to request our ramen to be spicy and it sure does have a kick to it. This place also does offer alcoholic beverages such as soju and cocktails for pretty cheap. The sushi my sister ordered looked amazing (can’t remember the name all I know is that it had crab meat inside and topped off with a jalapeño slice on top).
This place definitely feels authentic and it does look like it’s family owned due to the little kids watching shows on their iPads. I say give this place a try but do be patient with staff as it does get busy and they are...
Read moreIf you want to experience terrible food and horrible management then please visit this place. We originally wanted to go to the restaurant next door Chennai express but decided to try this place instead. Big mistake, the ramen was below average . I ordered the chicken curry after they told me they didn’t have what they advertised on the menu. The presentation of my dish was so bad that I lost my appetite just looking at it. The flavor was non existent. I’ve never done this before but I sent my food back because I could not imagine paying for a plate of food that literally made my stomach turn. Our server was sweet but when they brought us the bill, the manger said that she removed that dish from our total but I should “be more careful the next time I order.” I couldn't believe her ignorance. She was essentially blaming me for the terrible food. I was very upset and told her there would be no “next time.” My finance, after seeing my frustration called the manger back and she claimed we told her we had an allergy and that’s what caused the issue. He told her that’s absolutely not true. We don’t have an allergy and we never said we did. We would have been happy to pay for the dish but her rude remark was uncalled for. She was talking in circles so he dismissed her and and we left. Very unprofessional and just gross! On a positive note we stopped by Chennai express right after and that place...
