El Burrito Loco — Restaurant in Channahon

My husband went to get some food for us a few weeks after they opened. After my husband sat waiting for our order for 45 minutes he asked what was going on and found out they actually skipped us and lost our order. My husband had to tell them what we ordered for a 2nd time and wait 15 min. When he got home my burrito was not what I ordered at all. They forgot the fajita veggies, sour cream, lettuce, and my guac. They also forgot our chips and salsa. When we called they apologized in a meaningless tone and didnt offer to re make the burrito or have us come back for what they didnt give us. My husband was however given a small container of guac and chips for them losing our order and him waiting for over an hour, but we had ordered guac and they forgot that too so the "free guac" was actually the guac we ordered that they didn't give us, not a freebie. Had they told us to come back so they could give us the correct things that we ordered and make the burrito we actually ordered we would have come back, but not after the lack of care in screwing something up so badly. I understand they opened a few weeks before this happened but customer service is something that should be important to a business too. We have never had an experience like this one at the joliet location, so I guess we need to continue to drive there even though we have a location...

I actually went out of my way to sign into Google on my phone just to correct all the tasteless fools giving this place 2 or 3 stars.

Literally everything about this place is at least reasonable, which is above and beyond for this town as it is. You will not find a better place to get some quick, decent food here.

Not only are the prices and portions more than reasonable, the food itself is a step up from Burrito King in my personal opinion, and really that makes this the best Mexican food you're gonna get for a few miles.

Also, I was just approached by an employee as I sat and waited for my food because it didn't sound right to them. Sure enough, I had ordered wrong. They did not have to make sure it was right, but they did.

It sometimes takes a while to get your food (5-15 mins depending,) but you spoiled idiots have to remember that this isn't the goddamn McDonald's next door. They actually MAKE the food here, which can take a hot minute if you want it to taste like food. Alien concept, I know.

Look, I know it's tacky to just slap 5 stars on something, but in this accursed town you're just not going to get any better than this. Stop being picky and go eat your Chef Boyardee ravioli. This...

I was highly disappointed in this burrito loco location. I visit the New Lenox location often and was super excited that we have a locally now. The staff seemed nice. The food and wait time for the food was awful. The time on my order receipt was 5:49. I didn't receive my food until 6:32 and this was a to go order. My total was also $52. So I was a little more than annoyed at the wait time. However I had my food. Drove the 3 minutes to my house and all the food was cold!!! I had a Mexican corn. I do not even think it was warm when they put it in the cup. I had to microwave this dish. Our taco salads were a wreck and also cold. The shells were also pretty stale. My husband's tacos were like soup. The tortilla was a weird goo. I do not even think I can give this location a second try. It was a complete waste of $50. I'll continue to visit Ray at the New Lenox location. I do hope you work out the kinks in Channahon because there are so many businesses that do not make it. Maybe once the new feel wears off and you are not so overwhelmed things...
