This is our second time getting food from Happy Falafel. The first time we just wanted to try a few things. My Wife had the Beef Shawarma Rice Bowl, I had the Combo Shawarma Pita and we shared a small Falafel. I purchased one of all of the sauces too, just to try them out. The Garlic is spectacular, The Green Chili is very tasty, but my personal favorite is The Red Chili!

We loved it all so much, today we did almost the same thing, but ordered a large Falafel and added the Hummus. The Red Chili Sauce is incredible. A great flavor and a nice spiciness to it. I enjoyed adding it to my Pita as well as some on the Falafel. The Rice Bowl is enough for two meals for my wife, and she loves everything in it.

When I unpacked the food I was pleasantly surprised at the size of the Hummus. My plan was to add a few of The Red Chili Sauces to the Hummus and find something to dip in it. There was an unexpected large stack of Pitas with The Hummus! There was so much I decided to take a bit of Hummus and top it with some of the Red Chili in order to have a less spicy option for my Wife.

Happy Falafel is a welcome addition to the area. A great option if looking for something other than a burger or pizza. Seriously - try the sauces! I spoke with the man both times I was there, and had nice conversation while I waited, without me bothering them too much. Incredible food, great people, and I wish them all...

I stopped in yesterday to get lunch after my shift. The two employees were so friendly and it really did feel like a family atmosphere. I have Celiac disease and asked them about allergens in a few of the dishes. They were great and helped put my mind at ease. The food was prepared quickly and it was absolutely delicious!

I got the falafel rice bowl. The falafel are some of the best I've ever had. They're a good size and perfectly crispy. There was a very slight heat to them that grew as you kept eating. The rice was so fragrant and comforting. The spices started out mild and then grew in intensity as I kept going. I saw some whole cloves in there - love the generous use of spices! The rice bowl also came with a big serving of hummus, which was hands down the best hummus I've ever had. It was so creamy and smooth. I dipped the falafel into it and it was INCREDIBLE.

I will absolutely come back! Great addition to Channahon!

(To the owners - the only request I would have would be to include an allergen menu somewhere on your website. I really appreciate that you mark which items are vegan, but it would be so helpful for your customers with Celiac or gluten intolerance to know which items are safe...

We just recently hosted a baby shower in the area and I needed a good Zabiha halal catering option for several of our guests. Thankfully this place was open nearby as the food is amazing and the service is extremely cooperative and friendly.

I’ve been to many Mediterranean restaurants and hands down this is the best hummus and baba ghanoush I’ve tried. I also love the fact that the spicy sauce actually has some spice to it instead of just being mild. The meat, rice, and salads were always fresh, both at our party and for our orders in the past. I had several of our guests comment to me that the falafels were incredible, even the people who I know usually don’t go for the vegetarian options. By the middle of the party we ended up needing to order extra of everything, and it was extremely convenient that this place was open until pretty late.

All in all, great experience each time, sending many blessings and appreciation to the owners and the workers there for keeping up with such great quality of food...

Great place for grab and go or order ahead! The seating area inside is a little small but not cramped at all. The guys working are super nice and helpful. Portion sizes are all pretty big so you definitely get your money's worth and it's not very expensive either! The first time I got a chicken shawarma bowl, fries, and a mango lassi and it was a little over $20. I wasn't even able to finish the whole bowl, so I ended up with leftovers, still tasted great the next day. Today, I asked for a suggestion as I didn't know what I wanted and the man at the counter said he thought a salad with chicken would be good since I wanted something smaller to eat. I got another mango lassi, total $20 again. As you can see, I finished half the drink before I even got back to work. So far everything I've had tastes great, will definitely be back to try more of the menu.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Happy Falafel, and it was a delightful experience! The Kafta Kabob Pita was a standout, perfectly spiced and incredibly juicy, wrapped in warm, fluffy pita. The falafel was equally impressive—crispy on the outside and wonderfully moist on the inside, bursting with flavor. To top it all off, I enjoyed a refreshing Mango Lassi that was creamy and perfectly sweet, making it the ideal complement to my meal. The friendly atmosphere and prompt service added to the overall enjoyment. I can't wait to return for another delicious meal! The owner Naveed was here to make sure the service was impeccable!
