Terrible Experience at two Amigos Restaurant
I recently had a highly disappointing experience when I called two Amigos restaurant in order to place an order. The incident occurred on Saturday, May 25th, at 3:20 am.
Upon calling, a lady picked up the phone, and as soon as I mentioned that I wanted to place an order, she responded with an exasperated "ugh!" and abruptly hung up. Shocked by this unprofessional behavior, I decided to give them another chance and called back. This time, a different person, a man, answered the phone and claimed that the restaurant was open, but they needed to clean the kitchen for the next two hours. This was surprising, as they advertise themselves as a 24-hour establishment.
I must express my disappointment with the behavior of the employees at two Amigos Their rude response and lack of professionalism are unacceptable. As a customer, I expect to be treated with respect, regardless of the time I choose to place an order.
I hope the management at two Amigos takes this feedback seriously and takes the necessary steps to address these issues. Such behavior reflects poorly on their establishment and can greatly impact their reputation.
I would caution potential customers to consider this experience before choosing to dine at two amigos restaurant. It is regrettable to see such a promising establishment tarnished by the actions of its employees.
Overall, I am extremely dissatisfied with my interaction with two Amigos and will not be returning...
Read moreI’ve ordered delivery twice from Two Amigos and eaten inside once. The one dine in experience left me with positive impressions but none of the employees were wearing masks. My friend commented she felt unsafe and I heard someone who had just entered the restaurant say no masks? The food was very good! The Pupusas was perfectly made and tasted amazing! Seafood burrito was awesome! My friend really enjoyed her Chimichanga! She ordered shredded beef but instead got ground beef. She ate it anyway because she hadn’t eaten all day and she had a lot of work to do so didn’t want to wait for another. My first delivery it arrived sooner than expected and the Chili Relleno was fresh and delicious! The second order I ordered their taco platter and the 3 tacos were made wrong. I ordered chicken and they were beef! The taco shells were also stale! I called to speak to the manager. The lady who answered the phone was very polite but put me on hold for almost 10 minutes. As I was preparing to hang up, the manager came on the phone. He was extremely apologetic and said a new order would be on its way soon. It arrived very quickly and the 3 tacos were delicious. The manager called me about an hour after I ate. He left a very nice voicemail. In the voicemail he said he felt he didn’t apologize enough during the call. He thanked me for my business, offered his sincerest apologies, promised it won’t happen again and offered me a big discount on...
Read moreI wanted to give 3 stars - we stayed in DC one night and came back late and wanted to try something near the hotel. It’s 24 hours and Mexican places in MO aren’t like that. We came in and I was not surprised by anything but the menu was more disappointing than when I was looking online. I usually order a burrito with cheese over it; that wasn’t even in existence here. But they had pasta with chicken which was delicious. I ordered a sangria, and I’m not sure the price (I didn’t get an itemized receipt) but holy heck - i couldn’t even manage to drink more than the rim of the glass. It came out with two cherries, which was different but it had an after taste of cherry but it mainly tasted of tequila. I might as well had the bottle in hand. Now I got my moneys worth in alcohol in a glass but I couldn’t stomach it. I was too embarrassed to ask for a new drink so I was trying to share it with the only other adult with me and gave up. What really bothered me though is that when I got the receipt to pay, she had added her own tip in of 20% - it was over $11. I am a fair tipper but this dinner was already $53 for three people and to tack on $11 was a bit much for what we got in food and service. Not even a refill for chips and salsa. If you want to spend that kind of money, try Bistro Du Jour in DC. I spent less there for two people and it was amazing. It’s not Mexican, but I’ve been home for two days and im still thinking about that...
