Husson's Pizza - Bridge Road — Restaurant in Charleston

Ordered from Husson's for the first time today. Dinner arrived about 5 to 10 minutes earlier than estimated, and was delivered hot; ready to eat! Overall - A great choice! Just don't order the cheese sticks.

We ordered a Large 18" Deluxe Pizza, and Cheese Sticks. The Pizza was phenomenal, the dough was the right thickness, and the toppings were appropriately portioned. Ingredients tasted fresh, and the banana peppers on the pizza really popped (the peppers were fantastic).

The Cheese Sticks, on the other hand, left much to be desired. There was simply not enough cheese (could have doubled the cheese and I'm not sure it would have even been enough). There was no seasoning (salt, garlic, basil, anything) to give the cheese sticks any flavor at all. The marinara was good though, so we ended up making mozzarella sticks we had in the freezer to enjoy the sauce.

Spoke with a kind gentlemen about any features-he suggested a large one hoping with breadsticks and marinara. Needed to feed 6 adults. More than enough. The large is super large. Not the worst pizza I’ve ever had, but far from the best. Their sauce is overly sweet and their crust is soggy and bland. Their convoluted sizing is also intentionally misleading. Calling a large a medium doesn’t mean you’re getting more food for the price, it’s the same price either way. I’d rather get an ACTUAL medium pizza from a pizzaria that can make a decent pie than $20 worth of warm...
