Me and my wife recently visited Aromas de Mi Pueblo restaurant and had an amazing dining experience. We decided to try their caldo de pata, and it exceeded our expectations in terms of taste and flavor. The soup was rich and flavorful, with tender pieces of cow's feet that added a unique texture to the dish. The broth was perfectly seasoned and had a comforting aroma that made us feel right at home. The portion size was generous, and it was served piping hot, which added to the overall enjoyment of the meal. The staff at Aromas de Mi Pueblo were friendly and attentive, ensuring that our dining experience was top-notch. We highly recommend trying their caldo de pata if you visit this restaurant. It's a true taste of Ecuadorian cuisine that will leave you wanting more. We can't wait to go back and try more dishes from their menu. Aromas de Mi Pueblo is definitely a hidden gem that shouldn't be missed!"

I love their plating. It was nice not to have the rice in a circle (like a bowl was used, old haircut style). Everything looked great.
I chose the Hornado, which is a bed or rice with with a healthy amount of pulled pork. It is surrounded by sweet plantains and a delicious potato that was the perfect firmness. On top of it all thinly sliced onions. If there is anything you don't like, you can ask to hold or put on the side.
The little mug with the spoon is their own hot sauce made fresh.
I chose Inca Kola (soda). This comes in cans only, and I was pleased that they provided a cup with ice along with it.
Tables are large and very well maintained. All clean and ready for use.
Overall, this was a very good experience. A 4.8 out of...
Read moreOkay, well now that my family and I have eaten here a few times I can say that the food is great! The service is good! But the only reason I give it 4 stars is the way transactions are done. First you have to make a payment on the same tablet the waitresses take orders on, so when you ask for the check they will hold the tablet and ask that you tap or swipe, leaving you no room for privacy, and the tip is always set to 20%, and it's not an itemized check. You have to ask what they're charging you for just to be sure it's correct. But it's awkward to have someone holding a tablet in the air just waiting for you to tap or swipe. Oh and the restaurant charges you a fee for using your debit card and/or credit card. Which I find weird regardless of the form of payment you'll be charged for paying. I wish they'd change that detail. We've been debating going...
