Circle G Restaurant — Restaurant in Charlotte

I visited my cousin and her mom in Charlotte early December 2023. I took the first flight from Cleveland. Once there I was ready for some good food! My cousin said she had the perfect place - Circle G. I was thrilled to eat at a local establishment. I find those are the best. Upon entering, the patrons as well as the staff were friendly. The restaurant was clean and very inviting. Our hostess was very friendly and helpful. I ordered a western omelette with links and toast. My cousin order biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs and bacon. My aunt order scrambled eggs, waffles too with fresh whipped cream / strawberries and bacon. The food took no time. It was hot, fresh and delicious! We all agreed that our food was perfectly cooked. We took our time eating and enjoying ourselves. The waitress was very pleasant. She never rushed us and allowed us to talk and again, enjoy our food. I can’t wait for the next time I visit because I’ll be there straight from the airport. My only regret, I accidentally erased...

The chicken was tender, moist, and the skin was crispy. It was not greasy, which is a plus.

The greens were good. Needed a pinch of salt, and a splash of vinegar.

The mashed potatoes and gravy was missing the gravy. 🤷🏾‍♀️ The mashed potatoes were basic.

The rolls, I did not eat them because I saw the guy picking up rolls up, without wearing gloves, and placing them in the Togo orders.

They have a decent size menu. I would probably give them another.

We we're greeted by there wait staff, at the register, and she was like no tables go to the back and find a seat, we didn't kn they're was a separate area in the back we ended up set the little bar, where the take out happens, very loud, we were at the kitcken window, but one thing I can say we were checked on through out our meal, first visit and I'll return, I had the salmon cake and eggs and it was season well, there meaty,hash brown,toast, tea, over all experience was not bad. Good place to bring family for some good ol' cooking menu had a lot of options,a little of every thing from chili dogs and onion rings, you name it I'm sure they will have it, prices were decent and the food...
