This is absolutely the worst Jack in the Box located on Hoskins Road, in Charlotte NC, and I will never be stopping here again and suggest you don't. Stopped by today and will be my last. I was only one in drive through line, and only one car parked beside entry door. Person came over the speaker talking low, running her words together, which all was not understandable. Asked for it to be repeated, but only silence. Waited three minutes, and said hello, hello. This time reply received with same low voice, running words together but only thing understandable was working on Door Dash order, and no order right now. Sat another three minutes and drove off. If those in management running this location can't provide better service than this you need to close it down as there was no excuse making the only one person in drive through wait on a Door Dash order being prepared before taking their order. If only a one man show at this location you most definitely need to shut down as people don't have all day to waste their time on management's inability to manage this location properly with dependable, and reliable customer service oriented people with a driven mindset to serve the public appropriately and expeditiously. Do yourself a favor and never stop here unless you got all day to wait to order. However, if by some miracle you're successful in getting your order placed and receiving it through the window be prepared to receive a drink that's dripping on sides of cup, no napkins, and sandwiches half wrapped, which all is unacceptable in fast food and could be very unsanitary as well. ✅️ This part is for management or whomever is responding to these comments. 👉 I've read number of them and responses are very general in nature, and doesn't make up for what's lacking in your establishment. I've been stopping by this location for few years and quality of service has gone downhill 100% in that time. So no more excuses and apologies or comments back to customers grievances as these are just sugar coating things, and changes aren't forth coming to improve. Either cleanup inappropriate behaviors by personnel, get proper people employed, or shut the place down because your location has a negative 100 rating in my book. BTW, I took my business to a competitor since your business isn't rating high enough on the scale to attract customers like me. Read moreWent here for lunch yesterday (6.25.21). Sat in the drive thru lane for about 15 minutes waiting to order. An employee came out to tell everyone that if we wanted to order at drive thru we needed to just go straight to the window because the person taking the orders couldn't hear over the guy in the drive thru lane pressure washing the ground. Mind you this is 11:50. I have already been in line for 15 minutes waiting to place my order. He then tells us if you would like faster ( key wird there) service you can park and go inside. Myself and the car behind me decide to go inside. Well that was a mistake. Inside there are 2 people waiting on orders, 3 people ahead of me to place orders and some walking in looking for the order they placed at the window as was told to pull around. I placed my order ( it's now 12:14). 1st one Combo #1 with a coke, Combo #4 with a coke and 2 tacos. Order #2 14 tacos, 1 egg roll, 1 loaded mini tacos an order of onion rings and a coke, 3 sour creams and taco sauce. 12:30 1st order is ready. At 12:40 I question how much longer on my 2nd order because my 1st order is getting cold. Managers reply: well ma'am you ordered 14 tacos so it will take a few more minutes. My reply: ok I understand that, but you should have waited to fix my 1st order until the second one was ready to be served so that the food on the 1st order and 2nd order would both be still served at least warm. My co workers are not paying for cold food. Managers reply: sorry but that order came 1st. Me: ok well can you remake at least the fries and tacos so that part can be hot. Managers reply: no we can't do that. My reply: well give me my money back and I will take my business somewhere else. Mangers reply: I can't give any refunds either. Me: ok thats fine. Not wanting to create a scene. I took the food when both orders were finally was completed. Back at the office, gave my warm food to my co workers and ate a sandwich. Read moreJust nasty. What a waste of time. Not from the area so we didn't know any better. We've never been to a JITB like this before. As soon as we walked up to the door, we could smell urine and there was trash all over the parking lot. Walked inside and the whole place smelled like some cheap ammonia cleaner was used on everything. Everything was damp and smelled like urinal cakes.
The 96.0 health rating gave us pause, but a 96 is far from failing and it had been so long since we'd had a Sourdough Jack, and we were really looking forward to it. Ordered our food, and I went to the bathroom because we had been driving all day.
The bathroom was nasty. Everything was wet. There was hair and mildew in the sink. It obviously hadn't been wiped out in a while. There was no toilet paper. There were Burns and ashes on top of the paper towel dispenser from many a smoke breaks. The toilet had... fluids all over it. I decided to wait and go somewhere else.
The food came out fairly quickly, but the staff seemed bothered that we were there, and we could hear the rude, rushing way they were talking to the drive-in customers. The dining room was empty, except for us, but there garbage all over the floor and the tables hadn't been wiped down. There was old napkins and trash kicked under the soda machine.
The Sourdough Jack was TERRIBLE. The burger was dry and crispy. It was NOT the beef patty we are used to from Jack. They were those cheap, thin, made with vegetable protein patties. We didn't even finish our food, and we got the hell out of there as fast as possible.
Very disappointing Jack. We work in restaurants, so we understand good days and bad days, but this location has deep issues and long term problems, mostly with cleanliness...
