Boujee Soul Food CLT (Food Truck) — Restaurant in Charlotte

I struggled with writing a review on this at any rate I guess this is what the platform is for. I probably should have done more research prior to jumping in both feet. I thought it was a store front based on videos that appeared to have people in booths and not something outdoors. Reading rather than watching is fundamental because where else would a food truck be if not outside. The initial engagement started out well. The customer service was nice placed my order with no issues. The trouble came when someone claimed my order which leads to my overall dissatisfaction with everything. There should probably be a better process of people getting what they ordered especially if you not going to remember the faces and names of those you are serving and having to speak and be heard over dueling speakers and music and running trucks. So someone takes my order (knowing what they received wasn’t what they ordered) brought it back, I don’t want that!!! They offered to remake it which I was ok with seeing as I made this stop a part of my trip to Charlotte. I don’t think that happened (can’t say with certainty). I visited the food truck today I ordered the collard greens and lobster wontons and bbq chicken my total came out to 28 which is not a problem if the food was actually worth that price. The Wontons weren’t that bad I just expected something more different but the chicken was horrible I only ate one. It was cooked fully but it was not crispy, it gave already cooked chicken in a bag they just heated it up a little. Other people ordered the sliders and said it was good, so I’m assuming you have to order their best sellers to get decent food. I come here often. Had the pico de gallo chopped cheese which is A hit. Lemonade always good. I get 2 orders of wantons every single time and whatever else is available. It’s always good, can get expensive but it’s just food so eat and cry later. It was mentioned that they don’t use imitation anything in the wantons but I’m almost positivity I saw A strand of imitation meat. Won’t complain, just won’t get them anymore or I will further inspect it next time. I can also be totally wrong, everting on the menu is great though. Recommend the city kitchen instead of the truck.
