My daughter and I stopped into the store to use the restroom. My daughter placed her phone on the toilet paper holder. The toilet paper holder flew open causing my daughter's phone that has not had one crack in a year that she has owned it to shatter, the screen. She has a Samsung J7 and the insurance company for McDonald's will not cover the damage. I called the business office to speak with the district manager. The woman who answered the phone said once the insurance denies it, there is nothing they can do. Seriously? Wait! Why am I suprised that one of the worst and unethical corporations on the face of this earth does not have the wherewithal to step outside of their corporate box to help a 16 year who paid almost $200 of her hard-earned money for a phone that is now shattered due to a toilet paper dispenser inappropriately flying open causing her phone to fall and crack. Eugene, the manager was very nice, and took the report. However, there was an assistant manager that questioned my daughters integrity and honesty about the dispenser flying open. And to her I would say, I forgive you for your error and misjudgment because this time you are flat out wrong. If you knew my daughter, you know her character would not allow her to make up such a story, and I am sorry she, in an assistant manager position, has been trained to think that way. "We are very sorry this happened and would like to make things right". That is the correct response, and that is the response that I am looking for from the district manager. For a billion dollar company not to help a young girl whose phone broke because of erroneous equipment is quite detestable. Read moreWent to this McDonald’s to pick up an UberEats order (between 3:30am 4am Wednesday). The employees all lied and told me that the order was picked up by someone else (every location check the delivery drivers’ phone to make sure they have the correct order). The lady that came to the window because the doors were locked (which makes sense because it was almost 4am in the morning) looked at the order I had and the name on the order. She went to the back and then came back out and told me the someone else came to get the order already. I knew this was a lie and when I looked at her she didn’t want to give me eye contact because she knew she had just lied to my face.
Fast forward. 10 - 20 mins later I get another UberEats order for the McDonald’s on Clanton rd. I get to this location and the employee at this location was HONEST with me. She stated that if I was picking up an order for lunch/dinner if like a burger, tenders, nuggets etc. It wouldn’t be available at this time of the morning because they are now starting breakfast. I let her know that I appreciated her honestly.
With this being said. For future reference just be HONEST. There is no need to lie to someone’s face. Delivery drivers are out here to make extra income on the side etc. No one has time to come to a restaurant and be lied to after wasting gas to drive to the location. Be more...
Read moreI would give this place two and a half stars because your service depends on the crew they got that night or morning. I ordered a artisten chicken meal expecting it to be quick like a big Mac or quarter pounder but no apparently it takes about 25 min. to cook I wish the kid would have told me that when he told me to pull forward I would have changed my meal or got a refund. Being the patient men I am I waited thinking these guys must be new or they must have had to defrost it so I waited but the more they served guys the more I notice everyone was laughing leaving the window so I wonder if the guy was holding me up on purpose. The guy came out and offered me two pies for my wait and went back in at the ten minute mark. When twenty five minutes passed I was about to get out of my car and go in but almost like he was watching me he came out with my order. I checked the bag and saw there was only one pie so I drove around and asked for the second pie he said they aren't serving dessert and they are out. Then I asked why it took so long and he said it was cooking. This isn't stake it's not chicken cordon blue so their is no reason for the cook time or the attitude this guy gave me.
