Atmosphere: Too many tables for the space, and we constantly had staff and customers squeezing by us to navigate the restaurant. We were sat at a high top with quite uncomfortable chairs. For some reason a DJ started playing around 7pm, which is one of the last things I want during a meal.
Food: we ordered the Causa, Ceviche Nikkei, 2 sushi rolls, and 2 niguiri. The Causa was very beautifully plated and tasted great. The flavor honestly reminded me of Southern Potato Salad(in a good way). Everything else was quite bland and unremarkable. The Ceviche was a selection of large cuts of fish and avocado laid across a plate with some sauces drizzled over it. Nothing like the other Ceviche Nikkei's i have gotten elsewhere with more finely cubed fish and heavier sauce base. The rice served with the niguiri and sushi was quite dry, which made the dish feel like it was lacking freshness when eaten. The sushi was more comparable to something I would find in a grocery store refrigerator than a nice restaurant.
Overall, this feels like a restaurant that would fit better somewhere...
Read moretried Panko Peruvian on their opening night. Our server was excellent — truly a 10/10! Parking was a bit hard to find but manageable.
The food itself was okay, but it was lacking a bit in flavor. They were also out of several items on the menu, which I understand since it was their first night. The drinks were just okay as well and not all of them could be made.
Overall, the service was great, but the food and drink experience still need some improvement. I’m hoping things get better as...
Read moreWe had such a great experience here! The staff, from management to our waitress, were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Our waitress gave excellent recommendations, and every dish she suggested was a hit. We drove 40 minutes to try this place, and it was well worth the trip. The vibe is cute, with a Dj in the front with a flashing light that adds a fun touch.
The food was great, especially the bonbon appetizer. We’ll...
