I was excited to try Summit since I’ve heard great things, but was super disappointed in the quality of the latte. The staff was really friendly, but the latte was just straight up bad. I’m not sure what happened or if this is just how it always tastes, but I got a hot PSL and it was insanely watered down. I ordered it with whole milk, and it tastes like it was made with a mix of skim and water. Plus there didn’t seem to be much espresso in there. It tasted like half a shot for the 12oz of “milk”? This was the worst latte I’ve ever had in my life. I wasted $6 on this and it was still worth it to toss it out. When I was pouring it down the sink too it even looked super watery. What pushes it over the top are the lovely folks who work there. They are always so kind and friendly, but went above and beyond today when I spilled my massive 24oz IVL EVERYWHERE….like, literally everywhere- floor, counter, behind the bar. Everywhere. And that was right after someone else had accidentally spilled. They were so easy going about it, kindly corrected me after saying what an idiot I was for spilling, and really just handled it beautifully. Life is hard and the world can be rough, but they remind me how important it is to be understanding and kind to others. Bravo...
